Enterprise Painting has been located and operated in the greater San Jose, CA area for 2 decades. Enterprise Painting has provided quality, detailed and affordable paint jobs to hundreds of satisfied clients. I always spend whatever time is necessary with my clients to ensure colors, finishes and preparation for the job prior to starting the work. I encourage my clients to buy as many color samples as possible to give them piece of mind that they've selected the proper colors for their home or business. I am a contractor who is certified in lead paint abatement and carry a $10,000 bond with "Licensed Contractor Insurance Agency"

Got a competitive quote and set up a time for painting. Paul and his brother did a great job of prepping and then painting our house over the course of a number of days. He finished up and then came back for touch ups as needed a few weeks later. Paul also came back separately to paint new gutters on our house to match the new exterior. Gutters were done very week. He has a passion for quality that shows in his work.

We received previous estimates from other companies that were so much higher. The job was done perfectly, at a wonderful price. Out of all of the contractors we've used, he is our favorite!

Paul did an excellent job under chaotic circumstances: rain delay, lack of external electrical outlet, etc. He had great aesthetic suggestions and worked quickly and quietly. He clearly knows paint and how it works, and doesn't work for what condition. Very enjoyable to work with. I learned a lot from him.

Paul painted the exterior of our home in 2013; he painted the interior in 2014; and now he did our master bathroom area that had just been remodeled. Does it sound like we like Paul? Most definitely: Paul as a person is just so great; Paul as a painter is just as great. He did such a marvelous job on the exterior and interior that when the general contractor who did our master bathroom asked us what we wanted as far as paint, we just said we would call in our special painter. Not too many painting contractors like to take small jobs. Paul willingly and happily did ours. We really like the quality of work that he performs, no difference in quality between the two larger jobs that he did for us and this small job. And he makes suggestions readily, not to impose his ideas on us but to give us input based on his years of painting experience. We believe that you can't go wrong if you hire Paul Stage to paint your house.

We had a brand new deck put in last year, so it went through winter. Paul came out and finished up the painting and refinishing for the deck. He prepped the house for new gutters. He also did the entire exterior of the house.

This job went very well. Paul took the time and effort to make sure that the shakes were free of stains and told us about problem areas. He was happy to adjust the job because of weather conditions to make sure that all was done properly. All windows and doors were covered during spraying and he tidied up the areas after he was finished. We are so happy to have found a painter that communicates with us and does such a great job. Paul is very conscientious and meticulous in his work. He went out of his way several times to make sure the results looked just right. His price was extremely fair. Paul showed up on the day agreed upon and began his preparations. The drywall had been taken care of. The color consultant had suggested to my wife and me that a white ceiling, a couple of base colors, and accent walls would do wonders for this house. What an eye-opener! We never would have thought of anything other than off-white. The painting went well, everything according to schedule. When it was done, we were extremely pleased. The house had virtually been transformed by the non "off white" paint job. As many others on Angie's List have done, we give Paul the highest recommendation. One final thing. If you have a fireplace that you no longer use, given the frequency of "no-burn" days, ask Paul for a suggestion. You will be pleased.

Nice person to work with. Just too busy at the time with other jobs at the simultaneously. Just don't feel like everything was done as it should have been. Prep was done too fast and not well, the moss stayed on the stucco and was not taken off but painted over even though my husband and and I kept requesting for them to remove it. Watch out for your lawn, they cleaned paint on the grass and killed a spot in both back and front lawns, still dead zones more than 6 months later. They were plenty of bare dirt where to do it. The house looks nice otherwise and it was the lowest estimate.

That was good. Paul Sage was good. I will use him again. I will recommend him. There were some issues afterwards of the paint and I let him know and he came right over, scheduled it, and within a week he was here, he completely addressed the issue and he went over and above. He did nothing wrong, it’s just that something has not been done properly and he redid it, in fact, he almost started from scratch on the whole area instead of a couple of areas on the wall. He was excellent. He has painted for me before. He was very hardworking and responsible.

This is as short a review as I have ever written for a provider on Angie's List. I concur with all the good things that other reviewers say about Paul's work. He's booked so far in advance that I had to wait awhile for him to come out , but it was worth the wait. He has a fantastic eye for color and how colors fit in with the design of the house. He made several good suggestions that we accepted readily. To paraphrase what he says, "If I'm going to do it, I want to do it right."

Paul examined the property, recommended to address certain issues, listened to my concernes, collected samples for color matching, In a few days he sent his proposal, then we scheduled two days of work.
First day he prepped the surfaces with caulk, spackle, sandpaper and primer. On the second day he painted.
After completion, we had a detailed walk-through.
Paul did a thorough job showing great attitude and pleasant personality throughout.
Job site was left clean. The job was done under budget with excellent quality.

The job went very well, Paul was very easy to schedule with and very attentive to all of our concerns with the project. He offered very helpful advice to details (that we happily took) and the house came out looking very, very lovely.
After the preliminary job was done, he scheduled a period of time to "touch-up" anything that we did not find satisfactory, though there was only a couple of detials that needed his attention, all looked great; very nicely done job, highly recommended painter!
To top everything else off, he came in UNDER the estimate price by about $150. !!! Great Job !!! Would use again for sure.

Paul did a great job overall. The color change and trim work required some consulting and professional opinions, which he provided. Once we chose a job date, he got the job completed on schedule, and within $50 of his original quote. Only minor issue was email communication, but we discovered that was a problem with Angie's List. Phone calls were always returned promptly.

I contacted several painters for bids; Paul's was very reasonable. He was punctual and returned calls promptly. He went the extra mile by working on my house's steeply pitched roof and redoing work due to a product issue. I highly recommend Paul and Enterprise Painting.

After deciding to bite the bullet and repaint my home (3 structures), I contacted my original contractor who did not respond! Not only was Paul responsive, he did a beautiful job, made sure the color was perfect, and painted 2 coats, as I had requested! Paul is completely honest (the job came in under the estimate!). Paul made several trips to the property to talk to me and this made me feel very confident in my choice. He is a sole proprietor, he does the work himself and he really cares about you, your home and how you feel about the color. I plan on having Paul to do some other jobs for me in the future! Thanks, Paul, you really made the difference.

I contacted several contractors for a bid and preferred Enterprise Painting over the 2 others. Paul was very reasonable in price and I liked the fact that not only is he the one that comes out to view the job and gives you the estimate; he is also the one who does the work. This was very important to me as I've had other contractors who did not and led to miss-communications. There were no miss-communications with Paul. I also added in a couple small jobs along the way with no issues. He did a fabulous job and was a pleasure to work with. I would absolutely hire Paul again.

Paul maintains high quality at good prices by doing all the work himself. It might take a day or two longer, but it is worth it. He started by suggesting we change our color scheme, which we are so happy we did! He was very patient with us, putting 3 test colors on the house. I changed my mind on my deck right after he was done. I ended up removing it, which exposed the old paint underneath. He came back at half price to fix my mistake! We are so proud of our house now.

He did a fabulous job!!! He helped me pick colors that went well together and really has a great eye for what color to make trim, etc. Paul was always on time (in fact often early) and very responsible. The prep work and clean up were superb. We could not have had a better job done at a better price. Paul takes pride in his work and enjoys what he does - something very admirable, but very difficult to find in these changing times ....I highly recommend him without any reservations and will continue to use him for any future painting we may have.
