AMAZING!! Looks exactly like I had envisioned. Kelly, Vicki and team are very nice, easy and responsive to work with. Would DEFINITELY recommend to anyone looking for stairs or rails. Love this company and will work with them again when needed.

The absolute worst company EVER! They took advantage of my 93-year old mom through a woman who called herself "manager" of my mom's building. My mother spent nearly $100K with this company over 3 years to repair/replace AC units and fix roof leaks. When mom was deemed incapacitated, I became trustee of the building late 2016. The AC units were installed incorrectly, there are roof leaks and wood rot due to the improper installation of the AC units. A unit they replaced in 2017 still doesn't work properly and they refuse to fix it. I had to hire an attorney and D.R.S Stairs' attorney (probably their cousin) never responds. I have given them every opportunity to fix their shoddy work, they refuse. Reporting to Contractor's Board and am pursuing legal action.

DRS was fantastic from start to finish.  Kelly came out to do the initial estimate, and was friendly, consultative, thorough, and transparent in his assessment.  We gave them a picture of the bannister we wanted, and they replicated it BEAUTIFULLY for our home.  The craftsmanship on the bannister is impeccable.

As if this weren't enough, the real star of DRS is their office manager Vicki.  She is out-of-this-world incredible.  She's responsive, proactive, and goes above and beyond to be helpful.  We changed the scope of our project and she got us a new estimate in the same day.  We had a baby in the middle of the project, and she made sure that everyone and their dependent counterparts were lined up so that everything stayed on time.  She recommended people to do the painting and staining (their quality was top-notch as well), and then project managed them behind the scenes.  She even sent someone to help us with a non-bannister related emergency question because she had the contact and was interested in being helpful.  We couldn't be happier with DRS.

The original estimator didn't communicate to his employees what we needed to do very well. This led to a shortcut being taken, but when we let them know that we wanted them to fix it, they came out to fix it and also gave us a refund.

It is difficult to find craftsmen these days and this group of people are all top notch. Their work was exceptional, they were always on time, they cleaned up (yeah) and they were all excellent communicators - from the sales staff to the office staff to the installers. 
We originally had carpeted stairs from the main floor to our media room.  After ripping up the carpet, we discovered that the stairs had been poorly installed and we decided it was important to replace the stairs and do the job right.  We explored several options and decided to hire DRS Stairs to replace the stairs with tiger wood.  They ripped out the old stairs and custom built a complete replacement, with paint grade risers and solid tiger wood treads.  They replaced the railing and post with cherry and the balusters are paint grade.  Because one of our walls was not true, the installer had to make a few on-site changes.  Being a perfectionist, his changes ended up actually improving our original design.  
We used DRS Stairs on this job for stairs; however, we have a planned master bath remodel  and, becauseDRS are also a general contractor, we intend to solicit a bid from them for that project, too.  If I could give them an A+, that would be our score for DRS Stairs.

DRS was great to work with and showed up on time, which has critical given my schedule. The carpenter did a great job with the fit and finish of the new treads and risers and completed work on time. Very pleased with the outcome.

These are the BEST contractors we have ever dealt with. Over the last few years we have done our kitchen, a whole bunch of electrical work, new stairs, and new hardwood floors. Without a doubt, this was the best group ever. They explained everything very clearly including the time line (which was followed to a T), worked with our flooring contractor, listened to us and what we wanted, were on time, cleaned up, did fantastic work, adjusted to us on the fly, brought in good subcontractors when something unexpected turned up and made sure they did the work correctly. Overall, a great experience and a fantastic company. I would recommend them every single time. They are relatively expensive, but in this case you get what you pay for and they are worth every penny.

WORKMANSHIP WAS EXCELLENT. THE INSTALLER WAS PRECISE AND PAID ATTENTION TO DETAIL. THE COMPANY WAS HELPFUL IN COORDINATING TIMING AND REFERENCES WITH OTHER WORK PROJECTS RELATED TO THE STAIRS. IE SHEETROCK AND PAINTING.

THIS COMPANY IS EXCELLENT!! THEY DID AN INCREDIBLE JOB WITH FRIENDLY AND COURTEOUS STAFF. THEY KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING. THE CITY INSPECTOR SAID, 'THIS IS THE BEST JOB I HAVE EVER SEEN.' THEY CLEANED UP EVERYDAY AND WORKED SAFELY.
