Very prompt, quick service and professional. I needed to get this done before the rain comes tonight and they were the 2nd place I called and provided same day service. Identified potential issue with drain onto the street.
These folks are great! I called and left a message and promptly received a return call within 10 minutes. I described the problem and answered some troubleshooting questions - and was told that they could have someone on-site within the hour, and that one of their plumbers, Dave, would be assigned. Dave called about 15 minutes later to verify my address and to say he was on the way - and he arrived at my door about 5 minutes or so after that.
Dave was cheerful and personable, professional and polite. He showed up attired in a clean jumpsuit and he donned and quot;bootiesand quot; over his work-boots before entering the house. He promptly cleared the blocked toilet drain-line and left the bathroom as clean as it'd been when he arrived. He made some recommendations on replacing our 30 year old toilet, and then prepared the invoice/receipt, and explained there was a 60 warranty on the work performed. They have a flat-rate for drain-clearing, shown here.
I am 100% impressed and would recommend Drainmasters to all my friends and neighbors. Definitely real pro's. Thanks!
1) The work itself was excellent, efficient, no surprises. They offered to clear the second line for just a small additional charge. Overall very reasonable, well done. This is the third or fourth time they've come out to clean our lines (they clog up due to roots) and we've been happy every time.
2) Responsiveness/Punctuality. I downgraded the review a little but it requires some explanation. The original appointment was for a wide range of times on one particular day *except not during lunch* because I had a lunch appointment. But they called right during my appointment, I couldn't answer, and so we were left in limbo. They were going to show up at around 12:15 and hadn't heard back from me so they didn't come at all. I made it clear to the receptionist that I was not available during this time so that seems to have gotten lost. After my appointment I left messages with the main office and on the phone number that had called me, but no answers.
It turns out they ended up that afternoon on a big job in another part of the Bay Area that took longer than they thought. They finally called back in the late afternoon and were very apologetic about it and said they could still make it, but I knew traffic was going to be horrible and I wasn't in a big rush -- so OK to do it the next day.
So, two problems: 1) it was hard to get hold of them during the day, and 2) miscommunication about the one time slot I wasn't able to be there.
All in all not a big problem, but something to work on.
