DOG GONE GOOD POOL SERVICE

Unbelievably bad person in Donna. Our first worry was her reliability. We did not know when she was coming and suspected she was not coming at all. Then she did come and started to leave little notes to indicate that she came. When we looked at the pool it was never right though. She would often have excuses like personal matters that were just so brutal for her. I have no idea whether they were truthful or not so I let them go and was gullable. Then just last week the pool looked horrible and she made up some tale about the automatic cleaners not working and that she needed to get the distributor of the pump out to see it. She felt that when the previous owner had the pool they let the distributor off the hook on planned repairs. Something did not smell right with her story. I called the manufacturer and got a referral to a different service. They arrived the next day. In 2 minutes they identified and showed me the problem. Through neglect, the aquapure unit had failed and calcified. In addition the pump was irrepairably damaged. $1,800 to repair both!! She claimed that I was being swindled but of course I had seen the calcification with my own eyes. I saw how the pump was failing to output enough pressure. I heard it. I read the manuals and it was clear she was handing me a bunch of b.s. So she is gone and I am writing everyone to avoid her and her service. A total misery!
