They just stayed on the phone with us until we were back on line.

Wait time on hold was reasonable. The representative was polite, patient, and respectful. I am not very tech savvy, and the person was very patient with my many questions, and stayed with me until I understood everything. All of my issues/questions were resolved to my satisfaction.

They were TERRIBLE! To start with, they lied about the devices they supported -- I bought service for 2 HDTV's and 1 non-HDTV. Two different DISH svc technicians told me they no longer natively supported non-HDTV's, and neither one could get my TV operational with their "Workaround". I ended up getting a 3rd HDTV.

After all that, there were problems on a daily basis with the reception. There were image distortions, audio blips, delays of up to a minute to switch between stations, and long outages of the program guide and/or actual show availability (sometimes for as long as 11:30pm - 5:30am). I reported the problems constantly, and finally, when I had cancelled the svc, they asked to send out a tech to troubleshoot. I agreed, but it made no difference.

Cancelling was also a nightmare, since they insisted on trying to collect a $168 early cancellation fee. Luckily I had terminated their access to my credit card before I gave DISH my cancellation notice.

Anyone who is considering signing up for DISH should RUN in the other direction.

He came at the same time, this kid was underneath the trailer with the telephone guy. I didn't have a cable line in the master bedroom, there was one on the living room, one on the spare bedroom, but there wasn't a cable put into the master bedroom so he went under the trailer and put a cable through to the bedroom. He was there maybe an hour short of the ATand T guy. Even ATand T as far as cable and television services, they're so much cheaper than cable. I got high definition channels, they give you free previews, and even renting movies is cheaper. I love my Dish, I wish I had went to the Dish years ago. Every time I call I get a person, the automated system just check to see how your account is but I'm always routed through a person pretty quickly. They were right on time, right at 8:00. He did this little thing you'd ever did want to see and they were great.

We like it better. I think the prices are very competitive. He came out and explained everything to me and how the receiver works and I told him that I was going to be bringing in another TV and he said that if I had any problems to call him and he would come out do it again. It is very good quality. They are good and they show up when they say they will. He was professional.
