After I had quote from Diaz roofing for my 20+ year old wood shingle roof, theyteared off  after the city permit was pulled
Installed 1 layer of 1/2 OSB with Tech SHield  on top of existing sheathing
Installed one layer of 36" 30lb ASTM roofing felt under layment, installed pre-painted 24"wide  26 g and galv valley flashing 
Replaced all pipe and vent flashing with new flashing
Installed fiberglass shingles GAF per mfrs specs
Installed 5.25" aluminium gutters and downspouts
Spray all flashings with rust resistant paint
Cleanup debris upon completion
Pass the city  roofing inspection upon completion
Guaranteed workmmanship to be free of defects for 10 years from the date of completion  
 Great job by the sales guy from beginning to end of the project. Whole project completed in ~4 days which included 2 -3 inspections from City Building inspector.

My husband decided to have new proof install before the raining season comes on 2009. Their price was the most competitive. Therefore we went ahead and signed contract with Chris. Our unfortunate had begun after hired him. The job didn't complete before the heaviest rain in the season hit us. We spoke with Chris on the phone multiple times and tried to ensure temporary sealing was put to prevent leaking. They are basically ignored the request and just put out some light plastic sheet (like light trash bag) over part of the roof. Of course, the roof leaked. Those plastic sheets got blow away. Leaks everywhere at the house; closet, living room, bedroom, dining room; garage was almost flooded. So we call Chris immediately and the response was "I am off of my hands on this. This case has passed to my associate, Jon or you may talk to my boss directly." His associate didn't show up until 3 hours later. My house was already soaked. My husband and I missed work because we had to stay home catching rain water. Could had filed home insurance claim and have my insurance company deal with the rest, we thought about the negative impact may cause to their roofing company, so we didn?t do it. Long story shorten, Chris said he was not the in-charge anymore, however, when the job at 90% finish. We received several threaten and annoying phone calls. He tried to collect the money of the project. Very frustrating? We almost needed to go to court and resolve this.
