Delamore Fencing was established in August of 2013. The owner Kevin Delamore who co-founded Cuevas Lumber & Fence in 2002 has over 20 years of experience in the residential fencing business. After 12 years as general manager of Cuevas Lumber and Fence the (2) founders decided to create a separate company that would only focus on residential fencing and thus Delamore Fencing was established. Even though Cuevas Lumber and Fence is now being managed solely by Fidel Cuevas the two companies are still associated and work together on certain projects. The primary difference is Delamore Fencing has chosen to specialize in only residential fencing and Cuevas Lumber and Fence continues to offer commercial fencing, decking, arbor and retaining wall services. In all my years of serving the Bay Area residents I’ve learned how important it is to listen carefully to the customer’s needs, offer practical suggestions and deliver a product that meets or exceeds their expectations. Our entire experienced staff of installers has been trained to build a quality product using years of experience, quality tools and material. Although their focused on completing a project on time they don’t lose sight of protecting and preserving the customers property. Our installers will try their best to not damage items in your yard during construction and will clean up when they finish.

Excellent service from Kevin and his crew. Came when scheduled for estimate, came back for modification at my request. Answered multiple requests for additional information promptly, sent photos of examples, were reachable by phone and text. Installation was quick and clean, all debris removed, etc. Came back for adjustments on request and were very competitive on price.

I could not have hired a more professional and reasonably priced contractor to do this work. All this work for only $2,084.00. I also got a bid from one of their competitors, Sierra Lumber. Sierra owns their own lumber mills and yards. I thought they would be a lot cheaper. There bid was $3100. I couldn't believe it! Keven Delamore, the owner, said he believes in charging customers a fair price. He does not want to "gouge" anyone. I am extremely pleased with Delamore's Fencing's finished product and ,of course, their price.

It took two visits to get the estimate correct due to the special circumstances of the retaining wall. Everything went smoothly and Delamore ended up in the middle of the pack cost-wise. The two-man crew showed up each of the three days on time. They were very friendly and professional. They used top grade fencing and did a stellar job back filling the retaining wall and replacing my neighbor's decorative rocks. The gate is very sturdy and matches the fencing. The entire project was finished on time, and the work site was cleaned up thoroughly. Absolutely outstanding in every way.

It went well. We scheduled the installation date and Delamore showed up. They started removing the old fences and put in the new with their defined procedure. Then they worked the fence until the afternoon when it was completed. Quality was very good. I would recommend them.

We were very pleased with that. We bid a few.? They were sort of the best in terms of quality/price. They gave us a date, showed up on that date, told us it was a two day job, and two days later we had a brand new fence.? They're A's across the board.?

Delamore Fencing is the best! High quality fencing material, punctual, hard working crew, very professional, easy to talk to Kevin Delamore. We had 177 ft. of fencing (included 3 gates) and the price was $6,500 ( which we shared with the neighbors) and was the lowest out of 3 estimates. We are having more fencing done and Kevin is coming back for another estimate in May. You can't get a better company. Kevin's brother-in-law answers the phones and is so easy to talk to as well.

They were on time for the estimate and for the service. The work was done well and on time. The construction crew was courteous and left a clean job site. My neighbor had them completely replace a fence for them at the same time and that also went well. For our fence they replaced the posts but re-used the panels so we could save costs and both fences look great. Would definitely recommend.

I was very pleased with every aspect of the service. Professional, friendly, responsive. Called to remind me they were coming out for the scheduled estimate. Estimate included fence post caps, but they recommended I buy them on my own at a lower price - appreciated that they tried to keep my cost down as much as possible. Apologetic when they had to cancel the initial scheduled date for the work due to February rains. Rescheduled as soon as possible. Did the work while I was at work, and I could barely tell they had been there (other than that my gate now worked again) - the clean up was great. I would definitely go to Hugh and Kevin again for future work! And I have already recommended them to others....

Kevin came out to provide us with a quote for replacing our front yard fence and portions of our back fence that were falling down. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and honest with the work that we needed to do. He said that we did not replace the whole back fence, but just the posts. I really liked that he did not try to upsell with work that we didn't need and his prices were very competitive. The crew arrived on time and were polite. There was a small miscommunication about the type of fence step-down that we wanted, but Kevin and his crew fixed the issue and made the fence exactly how we wanted it. It looks great and his crew were careful not to damage the flowers by the fence. We will use them in the future when we need to replace more of our fence.

I like Kevin because he is very easy to talk to. The parts that didn't work so well was attention to detail. He mis-measured my front gate and was off by 2 inches. Also, we did not talk about latches until I realized that latches were not in the quote. I also had given him a picture of the driveway gate I wanted and his measurements and design produced a very different looking product. I asked that he re-do the front gate and trust that he did re-do the front gate to measure. He did offer to re-do the driveway gate, but decided to stay with the one he installed. There was also a problem with the driveway gate latch install that necessitated replacing the board that it was on. Lot's of re-do in this order, which is why I would not work with him again. I also noticed that the front fence posts are beginning to develop cracks. Kevin is very nice and I really appreciated his willingness to re-do, but it takes more time and effort and in the end I was not completely satisfied with the result.

We originally contacted Delamore fencing along with two other fence companies for estimates back in October 2013, however, we could not get both neighbors involved to agree to replace all the fence so the project was put on hold. Delamore's quote had been very competitive so last November 2015 when all neighbors were ready I contacted Delamore Fencing for an updated quote. We had changes to the layout of the fencing and sent the modifications over. They were prompt in providing us the update and cheaper than new quotes we had received from other fence companies. Keven even came out again and met with the neighbors to discuss the details. We gave them the deposit and they said they would arrive Monday morning Feb 15th between 8:00 and 8:30 and that it would take a full week to do the job. They arrived promptly on Monday and immediately went to work taking down the old fence. The men doing the work were hard working, polite and courteous. On Thursday I came home and realized the short 12 foot section of the fence that was to have a double gate was in the wrong location, the original fence was at a weird 35 degree angle to the house and we wanted it 90 degrees to the house. I spoke to the crew foreman in the morning and he said, "Sure, no problem we can move the posts and fence" and it was in the desired location when I came home from work on Friday. Overall the fence looks great, the posts are set solid, the long 150 foot runs of fence are in a nice straight line, not crooked or leaning posts. The gates are solid, properly aligned and good quality hardware was used.

Very professional, punctual and responsive. Provided a free estimate during which they recommended replacing the fence posts alone instead of the full fence, saving around $2000 from the total cost. Price was not the cheapest, but it was definitely competitive since other providers also quoted around the same final quoted price.
I didn't grade them on quality since it has been only a few days since they finished the work, which is too soon to judge the work.

"Wow, I was so surprised about this poor review and the fact that [Member Name Removed] was disappointed in the service that we provided. I never received a call or any indication of a problem. I was so concerned that I decided to give her a call to discuss the issues and apologize for the lack of quality and performance. When her husband answered the phone I briefly explained the reason for my call and he was very surprised that their was any issues and actually told me that he was satisfied with the work and was unaware that she had written this review.
