Decor Builders and Tal did the majority of our house renovation projects. Throughout the process Tal was extremely transparent and extremely dedicated to the job. When we received our permit to close the roof at 5pm on a Friday, mere hours before a massive rain storm, Tal was personally on the roof until 10pm making sure it's closed and insulated. When we wanted to figure out the best design for our kitchen cabinets, Tal accompanied us to the store and provided us his opinion. In the very very few cases where we weren't 100% satisfied, Tal did not argue and sent his team back to make sure the end result matched what we wanted. I would strongly recommend Decor Builders for any house renovation projects.

Décor Builders helped us to build a 659 sq ft addition to our existing home. Décor Builders provided us a full service of this project including architect design, construction, interior decoration, and front yard landscaping. We started interviewing contractors for this addition project in March 2021. We quickly selected Décor for this project after a few rounds of interview. Among all contractors we interviewed, Décor was the only one on time for all appointments and timely responding to our requests, which won our confidence. We spent two months in completing the design phase of this addition project with roughly eight rounds of drawing revisions. The designer from Décor Builders patiently provided valuable solutions to all our requests and modified the drawing accordingly. We submitted our design to the city in May 2021 and got approval in November 2021. Décor Builders immediately started constructing the addition and was able to complete the majority of the project in early April 2022. It took Décor Builders only four months to complete such a complicated projects under COVID and the supply shortage. All my friends and neighbors can not believe such a short project duration and think that we tell a lie. In fact, Décor builders can wisely plan the project step-by-step and allocate labors and materials in advance, resulting in this amazingly short project duration. We are extremely happy about its schedule management. During the construction, we also expanded the scope of the project constantly. Décor Builders dealt with the new tasks confidently. Décor could find the sub-contractor timely among its massive supplier network, inserted the new tasks to the existing plan, secured material supply, and completed them as scheduled. We stayed in the home throughout the addition project. Décor Builders thought on our behalf and minimized the impact of the construction on our daily life. Décor usually weekly updated us on the project progress and the plan for the coming week. When the power or the water was shortly cut off due to the project, we were always notified in advance and got prepared. Like all complicated projects, we also encountered a few hiccups. Décor Builders was always on top of these issues and provided its evaluation and solutions to the problem. We usually accepted its solution since we also agreed that the solution was the best choice under the circumstance. We are very satisfied with its service and highly recommend Décor to be considered for your next project.

Did a first floor reno that also included a new kitchen. This also included new flooring, new backsplash, new paint, new walls, new electrical, new hvac (condenser, duct work, heat pump, air handler, and multi-zone). Fast and quick. Good quality builds and workmanship.

Had a great experience working with Tal and team on our recent major remodel. Weâ re really happy with the results. They opened out our downstairs living space with new structural beams and added a big 24â bifold door across the back of the house. We went for a minimal modern finish with smooth walls and a sleek kitchen. I had a vision, but Tal was a great help with style choices and details. Iâ m a keen DIY-er. This is the first time Iâ ve outsourced any house related improvements. I was apprehensive to get anyone in, but Iâ m really glad we chose Decor builders. Tall put me at ease from day 1, understanding my want to be involved in all the details. He took my vision and with a very talented team, made it a better reality than I could imagine. There were some challenges along the way. (Delays due to the city, and appliance and window delivery) but the team adapted and dealt with them all. The team worked really hard throughout the ~3 month project. We lived in the property for the duration and they were always courteous and tidy. We have already recommended them without hesitation.

Just finished a home expansion and remodeling with Decor Builders and I was very pleased with there services. From the first meeting Tal came and itâ s just felt natural. He spent almost 3 hours going over different ideas of how to bring my vision to an actual plan. I renovated my family property in San Carlos and we ended up adding 500 square to the existing 1800 square house. We added a full master suite and reconfigured the living and kitchen space. We also replaced floors throughout the entire house and remodeled the bathrooms. The overall process went pretty well, they had great design services and helped to get the plans going pretty fast. Communication was really good, Tal was there for any question or concern and the crew know exactly what they were doing. They completed the project on time including some changes I made during the project. My experience with Guy and his team was very positive. High level of work ethic and great communication. Quality is super and everything came up beautiful and according our wish. Guy and his team have very good vision and creativity regarding the new layout and design which was super helpful. We really felt that Guy really cares for the outcome and the final result even that we changed our mind several times regarding different things. It was a pleasure working with Tal in my recent house remodel: the renovation of two bathrooms, installation of new floors and painting of the entire house. The result looks beautiful, and the project itself went very smoothly. Tal was involved in the process end to end, from the initial phase helping me weigh decide between several design options. He was then very helpful in the choice of materials, and how they worked in the design I chose. When the project started, it was very clear what to expect in terms of timeline and next steps. The project itself came out even better than expected, the tiles and fixtures for the bathroom blended perfectly together not only from a design perspective, but also the execution was very detailed and impeccable. We recently had our entire new home remodeled and added 500 square ft for our new master suite. My new master bathroom is AMAZING! Couldnâ t ask for any better for this entire project, so many details to pay attention to from the planing phase all the way to the actual construction part and Decor builders were just outstanding. Guy was managing our project, him and the whole design team were great and gave us great ideas regarding layouts, they also took us for shopping and helped us with the entire design + they provided 3D photos and video so we could actually see our house before start working and that was very helpful. The construction part was smooth and efficient, they were finishing entire work on time with no delays even tho we had to add some time because we wanted to change the original plan on the kitchen area. In the overall they performed even better than we expected and we can only say big THANK YOU for the entire Decor team, you guys are super and we will definitely recommend you to everyone who wants to remodel or add to there house.

Guy, Tal, and the whole crew did an excellent job on our bathroom remodel. They were patient, courteous, and always upbeat. When glitches occurred, as they always do, they were handled with expertise and a smile. They arrived when promised and kept the work area clean. I recently completed an entire home remodeling that included a whole reconfiguration of the kitchen and dining area, 2 bathroom, flooring, paint, recessed light in entire house and new windows with Guy and decor builders in San Jose. The process was even better than I expected, Guy and the team were very helpful with material choice, layout and design my new home. The entire construction team was super professional I was very impressed with the quality and how nice and thoughtful they were, for every thing I wanted to change or werenâ t 100% sure about they found a solution and made it work. We did a whole-house interior remodel and are quite pleased with our experience with Tal. Despite the chaos and uncertainty of the pandemic, he was trustworthy, helpful, and responsive throughout the process. We had interviewed 4 other contractors or design/build firms and ultimately chose to work with Tal. His company won our business because he was more engaged, asked smart questions, and offered really useful suggestions throughout the bid process. We implemented many of his ideas, some of which saved on cost and others made our home even more beautiful. We started our bid process before COVID hit, and Tal was very flexible and accommodating as we were dealing with the delayed sale of our prior home and our desire to change the scope of work. After we sold our other home and could move forward, work began promptly and was mostly completed well within the original timeframe estimated. I say mostly because there were a handful of things that weren't finished when we moved in -- some of those things were due to change orders or materials we weren't able to get in time, while a few were fixes or other unfinished work. While it was a bit of an inconvenience to have renovation workers coming in and out while we were living in the home, it was understandable given all the complexity of a project of this size and the vagaries of material lead times during COVID. I would give the workmanship of Tal's crew a 9 out of 10 -- we're generally pleased and believe that they do quality work, but of course there are always things you notice after you've moved in. Little things like paintwork around light switches and windows, wall texture and tiling that's not perfect, and bathroom hardware installed just a little off from where it should have been. To Tal's credit, he has been 100% responsive to any concerns we've brought up and has addressed every item we told him about.  We were very lucky that we had no surprises along the way. Part of that is because Tal forewarned us of any possible issues before we even started, and if anything had come up, we are confident he would make us aware of our options and be smart about mitigating any increase in costs. He operated with transparency and honesty throughout the entire process, and responded to every concern professionally and earnestly. We would not hesitate to recommend Tal or Decor Builders to any of our friends or family.

Tal was recommended by colleagues who picked him from their three estimates. I overheard them bragging at the end of a meeting about their complete home renovation and how great the Contractor was. I asked for his name and number and did not even bother to shop around. I dialed, Tal answered and we hit it off on the first visit. That visit set the tone for the entire project. Cost- I believe reasonable. Quality of workmanship - superb. Staying on construction timeline he set - outstanding. He offered his decorator services too and while not part of the quote, he often gave tips. I had hired a decorator previous to meeting Tal. Bottom line - he delivered on his promise. His primary objective was to make my husband and I happy. As a result, he was patient, flexible and kind. All work done with a smile. His crew were no different. We are very happy with the outcome. The professionalism and craftsmanship of the Decor team are excellent. My project consisted of extending the old 1400SF house of my parents and a complete renovation of the entire existing house. We redid the kitchen, moved some walls around, added a gorgeous master suite, re-wired and re-piped the entire house, added new hardwood floors, and painted the entire house inside and out. The overall project took almost a year and the construction part took 7.5 months(they committed to deliver between 6-8 months and delivered on time!!!). The Decor team delivered a final project that has exceeded my expectations and met all of my desires. They were very willing to listen to my ideas and comments throughout the project even if that meant changes to the work in progress. The experience was great throughout the entire process, from planning, design and then construction. There were some hiccups along the way, as with any renovation, but they were always handled with professionalism. I would certainly work with Decor Builders again and have already recommended them to others.

Process went very well. The challenging part was staying home during construction mostly due to my husbandâ s poor health. Guy was my project manager and he was very helpful, him and the whole crew were very kind and respectful of our situation and did there best to complete our project in a timely manner and with the list interruption, I was always kept informed with the next step. We are very happy with the final results and quality of the work, Decor Builders was our first choice and we will totally recommend them to anyone to work with. I recently used Décor Builders for a major remodeling of my codo. I found them via home advisor site and they responded quickly after my message. I decided on them after more than 1 hr long conversation with Tal who became my project manager for this remodeling. I felt he is knowledgeable, straightforward and easy to talk with. That time the décor Builders doesn't have overwhelming numbers of reviews but I knew I would go with Tal. The codo is more than 15 year old and it needs a new look. The remodeling is for kitchen area, entire floor throughout the codo, TV media cabinet/wall, master bathroom, stairs railing and finally garage wall and floor. I am very pleased with the project that is comprised of planning process, the attention to details, quality of work, schedule for completion, and design ideas as well. The outcome really exceeds my expectation. I am also very happy with my project manager Tal who made this renovation project very easy for me as a woman who knows nothing about renovation but being demanding. Tal understood my needs for exquisite design requirements and assigned an excellent designer for this project. Tal also went materials and cabinets shopping with me several times and made great recommendations on the vendors and materials selections that really fulfilled the design version. I can't be any happier with the renovation. I am smiling now walking from room to room simply admire the transformation of this codo. I highly recommend them !
