Phone Wiring
WE MOVED INTO AN 80 YEAR OLD HOME THAT NEEDED PHONE LINES AND JACKS INSTALLED IN OUR 2ND STORY. SADLY, WE HAVE NOT BEEN HAPPY WITH THIS WORK. DAVE DUNN, THE OWNER DRILLED FROM THE EXTERNAL WALLS OF OUR HOUSE RATHER THAN COMING UP THE INTERNAL WALLS SO NOW WE HAVE UNSIGHTLY WIRE AND HOLES ON THE EXTERIOR OF OUR HOME. THEN HE JUST FOLLOWED THE BASE BOARD AROUND THE ROOMS WITH PHONE WIRE, AGAIN RATHER THAN GOING INTO INTERNAL WALLS. IT LOOKS UNSIGHTLY AS HE USED BLACK SCREWS TO ATTACH THE WHITE WIRE TO THE WALLS. WE RECENTLY REMOVED THIS WIRING AS WE HAVE GONE WIRELESS.
