Cupertino Roofing is an excellent company to work with. We had a leak from our shingled roof over our garage and it was not apparent where the source was. I called Dave Smith (the owner) in the morning and he was at our house by that afternoon. He assessed the area where he thought it was coming from and said he would fit us in for repair between his current jobs. Dave called the next day and was at our place that afternoon with a crew of 3. He removed part of the ridge shingles near the leak, found the source and fixed it - problem solved! I highly recommend Cupertino Roofing. Dave is really great to work with, an excellent craftsman and trouble shooter and have recommended him highly to friends and neighbors.

Dave and his crew from Cupertino Roofing did a superb quality job resurfacing our Metacrylic flat roof and completed it 2 consecutive days. Our roof was 10 years old and needed resurfacing prior to installing a solar system. I received 4 bids with 3 of the bids that included additional work than was not needed - including one that would tear off the whole roof and replacing it with a new one. Dave pointed out exactly what needed to be done and not needed to be done and subsequently was not only the lowest bid but I felt was the best quality bid. He also fixed a valley area of our composition roof. His commitment to his work was apparent when Dave worked closely with the solar installers to make sure their hardware was properly sealed to the new surface, with the correct material, and then took the time to inspected it after the solar stand-offs and rails were installed. His crew is professional, courteous, and cleaned up after the work day. I highly recommend Cupertino Roofing.

Cupertino Roofing came as a recommendation from my Realtor. I had also contacted another well regarded firm but Dave of Cupertino Roofing was very responsive. He met with my wife and I at our home, went over our options and quoted us a price that was exceptional. The crews were on time and left no trace other than a brand new roof. The quality of the work was great and Dave took the time to go over what they did and even provided a disk of pictures of the project. Roofing isn't something you need to do very often but I'll gladly recommend them.

Excellent. I had other roofers inspect and give estimates but Cupertino Roofing found the damaged area, took pictures and showed me exactly what was wrong. The repaired the problem on the first try. Dave the owner called me right after the next 3 rain storms to make sure it was not leaking and I was satisfied. These guys are great.

The skylight broke in a wind gust on Christmas day morning! I called him around 10 AM on Christmas day, and he said he was opening presents with his kids. When I explained my situation and the hole in the roof, he said he would come right over, and patched the hole with a tarp on the roof. He then ordered the new skylight, and even called me when he did not get the skylight on time to notify me that the installation is delayed. He came to my house on the very same day when the skylight arrived and installed it-all this without me having to follow up with him. Overall, he is a great professional-I'd gladly do business with him again! I'd gladly refer him to anyone.

Company owner Dave Smith was extremely responsive and helpful, and his crew did an outstanding job. Very good pricing, excellent service, and high quality work. I had around 5 contractors provide quotes and recommendations for the roofing and ventilation improvements. Unfortunately many of the contractors weren't interested in considering or researching anything except their standard, cookie cutter approach. In contrast, Dave went the extra mile to provide educational literature, material samples, and even took custom pictures on details of his jobs so I could see exactly what he was recommending and why. I would have been willing to pay extra for this high service, but I didn't need to - Cupertino Roofing was among the lowest bids. The job itself was uneventful, about 2 1/2 days total. Work started and finished exactly as planned, the crew was personable and detail oriented, and the finished roof looks great. No problems of any kind through our Spring rainy season.

Dave is a very nice contractor who I know personally. He is very polite and sincere about what he does. This guy knows roofing like no other. He is very well known in this area, and has a good reputation. The job was done timely, and the finished product.
