If I could give Abram and his company more stars I would! I had a gas leak of all the things in my new place I got and dealing with mt home warranty and PG&E, Crown Plumbing helped me so much and quickly. I was supported in dealing with this process with my home warranty and steps needed by them to potentially cover this. Abram was kind, patient and responsive. His company got the work done fast thankfully since I couldn't stay at my home. His team of guys led by Moises were super friendly, communicative and fast but thorough. They did a lot of work in a short time, and the install was clean and looks really nice. Thank you Crown Plumbing for getting me back in my home and dealing with a delicate job like gas lines!

Water Heater Installation and Replacement
They arrived a little early - two trucks, as water heater is located in basement. Bringing the installation up to code was an additional cost to the original bid quoted. Can't say I was thrilled about that. Installation of water heater itself went OK, but because of new codes the building's water was shut off, and the lines had to be drained before the reconnection - that took quite awhile. They failed to check the gas line re-connection for leaks (though I mentioned a gas odor at the time and was told it would go away). After paying at one truck, I went back inside and gas odor still there. I sprayed the connection with soapy water, then shut the gas off as it was leaking! The 2nd worker (parked on the street) returned a parking permit, and I told him about the leak. He tightened the gas connection and checked again - no leaks. I'm happy with the new water heater, I would consider using them again if I could get a better price.

I really liked that they were easy to contact. They were on time for my appointment. I felt the pricing was a little high. When the faucet was completely replaced they forgot to turn the water on from the valves underneath. Lastly, the hot and cold water was swapped from the initial faucet.

They called within an hour of my request for a quote, and scheduled for the next day. Plumber came on time, found an additional problem with valves under the sink which he fixed, and installed the new faucet. Cleaned up after he was done. It seemed a little expensive, but the convenience of scheduling and promptness and quality of the work getting done was worth it.

Drain Clog or Blockage Clearing
They got here within one hour of my contacting Home Adviser. Paul, the plumber, was very friendly and had experience with my type of problem. (My 2 yr. old grandson put a hot wheel in the toilet and flushed it down) It took Paul about 30 minutes with a "snake" to push it through. Meanwhile, he told me funny stories about things other kids had flushed.

The plumber did double check at my suggestion to see if I did have copper pipes under the house. I do. However, the initial problem was the toilet bowl which had dirt particles debris in the bowl & in the tank. Mostly the bowl was the culprit, this he didn't seriously check with me. So I did pay the initial estimate of $145.00, which I thought was too high.

Water Heater Repair or Service
The plumber showed up on time, figured out the problem and fixed it quickly. $480 (labor + parts) for about a 1 hour job seemed a bit pricey but this was an emergency situation which got fixed. Parts that were replaced were two pipes leading into and out of the water heater and a new and improved inlet valve. Plumber had all the needed parts in the van.

The plumber who installed a new faucet and valves was an expert. He was very professional, tidy, and fast. The service was completed on the agreed upon day, however the plumber was quite late to arrive due to an emergency situation at another site. Sometimes that happens. The company did keep me informed about the new arrival time. The tardiness is what is keeping this review from being all 5.0's.

Water Main Install, Replace or Repair
Hired Crown Plumbing to fix a water main leak. Victor who was the repairman came to the rescue. He was knowledgeable and explained everything. I thought it would take many hours to deal with the situation. Victor came and was done with the repair in 2 hours. No more leak. even though Victor did a wonderful job and it took only 2 hours, the cost was more than I thought it would be. Great job, Crown saved the day.

This is the third time i have used Crown. This time they fixed a leaky faucet that i had tried to fix myself. Crown always seems a little expensive to me, but they show up on time and they do a quality job every time.

Making the appointment on the phone was a little disappointing as the personality of the guy answering left something to be desired. I was a little worried about who might show up but the guy who came (wish I could remember his name) was very nice, did a great job and left with everything complete and in working order.

I was hesitant to make an appointment online - and, the plumber, Abram, forgot to check for HomeAdvisor appointments today. Anyway, I called him, he came within 15 min. and fixed my faucet. Very professional, very nice and courteous. Had a uniform and a company truck. He fixed my faucet within 20 minutes. I am satisfied and will use him again. Next time I'll just call the company to set an appointment rather than rely on the on-line appt. service. All of the good reviews are accurate!

Crown plumbing is an excellent outfit which I would highly recommend to anyone needing plumbing needs, repairs, or installations. Abram, Victor and Moses are very courteous, professional and efficient. Negotiations with Abram is excellent, no hard sell and understanding of the budget constraints of the client. Moses and Victor are very hard working, polite and got the project done, repiping the whole house with copper piping, sink installation faucet installation, etc. With extreme competition out there, finding an excellent company with great workers is rare now-a-days. Will hire them again if plumbing needs becomes a necessity in the future. Kudos gentlemen!!! Home Advisors note this outfit is a keeper.
