It went well and they are very professional, there was some debris that was left in the attic when I asked them to clean it up they were responsive. I will definitely recommend them to others.

The process went very smoothly, and once the old roofing material was removed, some dry rot was discovered.  Pictures were taken so that I could see the damage, and the original estimate increased about $1,000 because of the necessary repairs, but I felt that the company was very honest in its dealings with me. Also, I noticed after the project was completed that there was some minor damage to the frame around my skylight (visible from inside the house).  I contacted Conrad Roofing and they came out and looked at it, took responsibility, fixed it, and then had a painter come out and repaint the ceiling around the skylight.  Fantastic service and I have recommended them to others and will continue to do so!

Conrad Roofing was excellent. He was on time, very reasonable, flexible and professional. There were no issues at all. One of the only contractors I've dealt with that provided a pleasant experience (at least as pleasant as a roof replacement could be)!

We had removed a chimney that was in the center of the room.  They filled in the hole with plywood and covered it with new felt and shingles.  Skylights were leaking and they installed new flashing and shingles to stop the leaks.  They also removed some old pool solar panels, in the proper way so as not to create more leaks.

They really took their time to ensure they did a good job, and cleaned up after themselves.  We went on the roof to check their work and everything looked well done.  Pricing was competitive too.  They even fixed a leak on the front porch while they were here, which no one had ever seemed able to do before, so we're happy about that when it rains.  We were very pleased with the service provided.

They did an excellent job and were very clean. Keith Carnahan was our contact and he was very friendly and helpful. He was quick to answer any of our questions.

Keith answered lots of questions and had suggestions during the no-charge consultation. He was one of four companies seen and tho they all were well recommended I went with my gut and chose Keith. They started on time Monday morning and finished Wed afternoon. They cleaned up daily, put plastic over stuff in the garage, and did small favors like brushing off the gable vents, tacking up an eyebrow vent to see how it looked, and a new vent for a fan. I definitely will recommend Conrad Roofing.

Keith (owner) was very responsive from the start. He came out within a couple of days to give a free and detailed estimate. We needed to add a 50' gutter to the back of the house, a new downspout, and perform a roof tune-up for our wood shake roof. There were some tricky solutions needed for the gutter and downspout, and Keith provided the most reasonable and feasible solution out of all the bids I obtained (about 5). He and his crew performed the work bright and early on a Friday morning and were done within 4 hours. They were clean, professional, and respectful of our property.
Price for the whole job was very competitive; there were a couple of other bids that were lower, but Keith's knowledge and confidence in his work made us choose him.
I would recommend Keith and Conrad Roofing again.

I went with them because my daughter had used them. He has been in the business from a long time. He came and he was on time. I had to take my dog to home care and when I came back, the roof was out. They were that fast. The work was done in four days. It took them extra day because we had wood on the hard rock. The cleaning was great. Quality of work was great. I would use them in the future.

The work started on a Monday and was finished on the following Friday, just as the Conrad Roofing owner had estimated. I was present each day to observe the work and am very happy with the result. The owner, who started with the company as a worker and had been through all work positions, supervised the start of the project and came every day to see how things were going and, in some cases, to help with the work. What was essential to successful completion of the project was my written detailed description of what I wanted done. During the bidding process this detail led to discussion, ideas and feedback that I received from Conrad's owner. This all led to a final written and detailed proposal. Conrad Roofing submitted the second lowest dollar proposal, but I felt that the owner was honest, trustworthy, accomplished and easy to work with. After all was said and done, I made the right decision to accept Conrad Roofing's proposal.

Very responsive for initial appointment and receipt of estimate. Good email communication. Very fast start date after acceptance. We added additional vents and screens and the estimate was revised with no problems. All questions were quickly answered. The workers were very neat, not a trace of trash remained after completion. There was no sign they had been there, other than the new shingles.

Professional from beginning to end, yet kept the process (estimates and sales process in particular) simple. Kept the property very clean.

We were extremely impressed with Conrad Roofing. Friend's had used their company before so we had some prior knowledge of this company. The inspection was done in a very timely manner and the work was completed withiin four days of our authorization. The work site was left in a clean manner and there is very little indication of the work that was completed.

Conrad Roofing is an awesome company to work with. Keith is very conscientious and responsive to questions. I was fortunate to have gotten a recommendation from a neighbor before reviewing the comments on Angie’s List. This helped to narrow the list. I also had a close friend that independently used Conrad Roofing and had a very good experience. When I contacted Conrad Roofing for an estimate, Keith was quick to respond and inspect our existing roof. He submitted his estimate within one day that included options that were separately priced. I had questions and last minute changes. Keith responded that day with answers and accepted the changes and sent the estimated costs. We agreed on a start date and the final contract was on that day with all the changes we discussed. The installers were great. They were not noisy (except for the normal equipment noise) and cleaned the area around the house at the end of each day. The job took 4 days to complete. An hour after making the final payment, Keith discovered his supplier had sent the wrong grade of roof and immediately contacted us. The options were to accept the installed roof (with the appropriate reduction in material cost) or remove it and install the correct grade. We chose to have the correct grade installed. Keith informed us that the final payment check had been voided and would be returned to us. He also coordinated this additional cost with his supplier (this was at the supplier’s expense) and quickly scheduled a return date for his crew. This was the first time in his 29 years that something like this had happened. We now have the correct roof installed and are extremely pleased with it and this company. In spite of this problem, I would highly recommend Conrad Roofing.

In a word, everything went excellent! Here are the reasons: Before I committed to the project, I was able to get quick email responses from Conrad for the many questions I had. I probably had 5 back and forth emails and all total, maybe 30 questions. In my last email I had about 10 questions and I got a hand written response delivered to my door the next day, every question satisfactorily answered... including a list of residences where similar work to mine had been done. We looked at them all and the work in each home looked professional. Because of this responsiveness and because of all the good reviews on Angieslist and Checkbook.org, we decided on Conrad. They showed up on the day they said they would and completed the job on the day they said they would. The job took four days and when I came home from work each day, other than looking on the roof, you could not tell that a major project was going on at my residence: there was absolutely no mess in the yard from their work. New vents, water guides, and flashing were installed and painted to look the same color as the roof tiles. When I look at other homes with Spanish tiles, I saw tiles cemented in place with regular cement but Conrad tinted the cement so it matched the tiles. A nice touch. I interacted with the workers in the morning and they were always polite. From the camaraderie I observed, I could see they enjoyed working together. Twice in the evening, I took a ladder and looked at the work in progress on the roof and it looked professional. They saved some of the boards with dry rot to demonstrate to me how dry rot looks. The boards were hollowed out, there was not much left to them. They quoted me the cost per foot to replace dry rot wood but perhaps I had so much dry rot, the dropped they price by 50% which I could not turn down! Even though the goal was to replace the leaky underlayment, I also got a much more attractive roof because the tiles were all re-laid and aligned in straight rows and in an orderly fashion. Two days after the job was completed, we had a rain. I went into the attic to look for leaks and it was dry. I gladly removed the old buckets from the attic that used to protect us from down pours.

The work went very well with no surprises. Very shortly after I contacted him the owner came out and sized the job and sent me an estimate a few days later. We subsequently decided to upgrade the shingles and he got us a great deal on the upgraded material cost. They started and finished right on time, including working with the solar installers. The cleaned up at the end of each day and did a thorough cleaning at the finish, including cleaning the skylights. It immediately passed inspection with no problems. And there were no surprises in the final bill.

The quality of work was excellent. They showed up for the estimate, the work and the cleanup on time every day they scheduled. They happily showed me what they worked on each day and where carpentry work was required, they showed me in detail what needed to be done. They did a pretty good job laying plastic in the garage to catch the debris (although it was still messy but probably unavoidable). One of the crew accidentally backed their truck into my garage door and dented the wood. They came out the next day and patched the dent returning twice to add the patch in layers. They textured the patch and painted it to match. Even knowing where the damage happened, I still have a hard time finding the patch. So even when there were minor glitches (which happen no matter how careful you are), they were very quick to make things right.

Conrad coordinated with the solar company so that Conrad first removed the old roof, then the solar company installed stand-offs for the solar panels, then Conrad installed flashings around the stand-offs, replaced or painted all of the old flashings and installed a composition-shingle roof.

The work was done on the date and with the quality we expected and we are very happy with the final result. Keith was helpful to us in picking the shingle and gutter colors. The work was done in about 3 days and Keith stayed in touch to keep us updated about the schedule and what would be done each day. I was impressed with the care they took to patch holes in the stucco left when the patio cover was removed. The site was left clean when the workers left.

It went very very well. My roof is not standard and I had some concerns. Fortunately, Keith was familiar with the construction and patiently explained the options. They used a large scissor truck to put the shingles on the roof. The foreman was conscientious and the crew worked very hard. They covered my stuff in the garage. They cleaned up everything well. They got a roof permit. I highly recommend Keith and crew.

My brother handled the re-roofing of our mom s home because he had a roofing business. He visited 16 websites, called 10 roofers, had 4 give on-site quotes, but he picked Conrad because he felt they were best qualified to handle a 24 x 24 35 year old patio cover with eight 3 x 7 glass skylights. All glass was removed, rotted wood replace, and the glass re-installed. Conrad did an excellent job.

Wonderful. Jim Carnahan (owner, I believe) was prompt with appointments and returning a good bid. He was always available by cell phone. He actually came out once in between bid and work to reinspect gutters for necessary repairs. Work performed during 2 clear days during a rainy season, they jumped in when the weather allowed. Work was done on a Friday, they came out on Monday when the inspector came and finished up. I got the invoice afterwords for the full amount (no deposit required to begin work) and paid up promptly. Excellent quality and performance! They are highly recommended!
