We got the letter initially, and spotted it immediately as it had a bright yellow background. My mom and I hadn't seen the letter before, but we were very interested. Since people tend to have a hard time finding our house (despite the big house numbers right next to our garage), we found this service to be of use. All we needed to do was leave the letter/paper outside our curb with a rock on top of it (for it to not blow away), and found that the instructions were very easy to follow. They sent us a follow up letter, and they made it clear that the service was not free, and that we can opt out before they painted the curb. They initially painted the section of our curb white, then a couple days later put the black numbers painted on top of the white. It looks beautiful, and we are very happy with this service. They even sent ANOTHER follow up letter, explaining how to take care of the painted curb. On this card, they misspelled "marks" on the care instructions portion, and on contribution "insure" should be "ensure", but I am only mentioning that so they can further the professionalism of their service. I'd recommend this service 10/10!

Positives: Their work is good and they respond by email.
Other stuff: There is no human contact, no phone number, no name of anyone. All communication is based thru flyers/preprinted mailers and email: community [email protected]. This left me uncomfortable in writing a check since I didn't know who really I was writing it to and I didn't want to get my bank account emptied later.
Negatives: Their pricing isn't disclosed up front. After they do the job (albeit well), they give you sort of a "guilt based" pricing matrix, basically encouraging you to pay $40-45-50-$50+ for painting a curb. Since they said their costs were "over $20" using opaque math, I gave them $40, which is the upper limit I felt warranted.
Bottom line: Their work is good, so thumbs up for that. But I think they should have a little human interaction and be transparent with their pricing upfront. The combination of those two left me continually wondering if this was a scam, which is why I mailed them cash.
Thanks,
RH

The work itself was done well. They scrubbed my curb and painted the white background the first day and then came back and painted the numbers and sealed the paint the second day. I'd guess that in all they spent about 30 minutes actually doing the work at my house. The numbers are very readable; however I would have preferred tham to be a little bolder. They use community pricing (good); but their literaturee is a bit too intense. However, they didn't attempt to contact me directly, just left literature in my mailbox. I would certainly use them again.

It looks great and will help visitors to find my house. Many companies have done this job since I have lived here, but they did the best job ever.

Excellent. Several of my neighbors had their numbers painted on the curb about two weeks prior. Theirs look like a 4th grader did it compared to the quality of the work done by this company.
