The finished result was spectacular, but the path was not without bumps. We thought CMT ordered the quartz slab material in March, 8-10 weeks before they would need them. Apparently, someone dropped the ball, and we only discovered that nothing had been ordered yet in June when CMT came to template the job. We visited their shop to look at alternative materials, but chose to stick with our original choice.
That caused a slight delay in the project, but the results were worth the wait. One surprise for me, was that CMT actually took our new kitchen sink with them back to their shop so that they could fab the sink cutout exactly.
Based on our experience, I would highly recommend Raul and his team at Castro Marble & Tile. Raul is very friendly, knowledgeable and professional, but his English can be a little difficult to understand over the phone. I would recommend that you verify with CMT's office manager that the material was actually ordered, and would also work directly with her for all of the scheduling of your job.
