Botany is an award winning landscape design firm, designing gardens and public spaces in the San Francisco Bay Area. Our goal is to create designs with character, which serve their function, that are well-crafted, and that delight the senses. We believe that the making of a special "Place" is a precious act which should be approached with thoughtfulness and care, regardless of project size or budget. As such, Botany was established with the aspiration to satisfy both the pragmatic needs of our clients and to respond to the minds and hearts of our garden occupants.

She is a landscape designer. Things turned out well. We still have almost all of the plants. Generally everything went very well. It took her a while to get everything together; she was working a couple of jobs at the time. She did a good job and she was always on time. She was here when she said she would be. She met the deadlines. She was kind of expensive. She was professional.

The work cost me around $8000. The price was reasonable. They didn?t do all the work. They did the design and some other people came out to do the actual work. They had good ideas. They really worked around with things that were already there. They were very respectful of the fact that I didn?t want the hardscaping done. They were just really good. They were professional without being stiff about it. I will definitely use them again in the future.

It was a very good experience. They came out and listened to our wishes and asked thorough questions about the yard. They came back with a design which we liked. They also broke the actual installation of the landscaping into phases so it is more manageable. They only drew the design and we are hoping to do the work in the future when our funds are available.

They really listened to my requirements and style preferences during the consultation phase, and worked hard to create designs that also met budgetary and lifestyle needs. I would recommend them to anyone needing landscape design; they really listen to their clients, bring real expertise and creativity to the process, and are infinitely flexible and patient. A real pleasure to work with.

I was very happy with the final outcome. They followed the final plan to my exact specifications and then some. It is quite amazing what you can do with a small space. There are no limitations that can be realized. I was very happy with their professionalism, promptness, and patience in helping me to decide on what would work best for our given area. In addition, the people they recommended to help with this whole project were very tidy and I certainly felt that I got my money's worth. They are just great!
