I was given Marc Brewer's information as a referral because I was having problems with the plumbers sent out by my home warranty insurance company. The shower leak issue has been going on for four months and the previous plumbers could not fix the issue. Marc returned my call the same day and two days later Doug came out and figured out the problem. While he was here I asked him to take a look at my tankless water heater that had been installed by another plumber. I was concerned that the job might not have been completed properly. He made a couple of suggestions for improving the system which I appreciated and agreed with. Also, he checked my water pressure, which was higher than recommended and pointed out that I did not have a pressure regulator. When I would turn on a faucet, the pipes would make noise. I asked to have the regulator installed. Parts were ordered and then all work was done on the same day by Doug and Michael. I was very impressed with the expertise of everyone I spoke with and appreciated their taking the time to explain what was being done and answering my questions. I would definitely recommend Blossom Valley Plumbing.

I had foolishly save a few bucks by ordering dishwasher through a discount program from the manufacturer. the problem was that there is no delivery or installation included so I then hired a handyman to install the dishwasher. He installed it and there were no apparent problems for a few weeks and then I noticed there was a leak under the dishwasher.
I pondered calling the original guy back but thought I had better get a real professional this time. Blossom Valley had installed my garbage disposal some years back and I was impressed with them.
Doug showed up right on time and was very courteous and got right to work. The handyman had not tightened the water line to the dishwasher well so it was leaking hot water under the dishwasher! Doug fixed that and then fixed a few other issues under the sink owing to just old pipes and he replaced a nut on one of the pipes. He put everything back together and thoroughly tested that there were no further leaks, told me what I needed to do to ameliorate the dampness from the original leak and was done. I was very happy that I called Blossom Valley.

Gas water heater pilot would not stay lit.
Tried multiple times to relight the pilot myself.
Service tech diagnosed the problem and replaced the pilot thermocouple.

By phone, they determined that I needed a new pressure regulator valve from the main waterline into the house. and needed the water supply valves under the toilets replaced, and gave me an estimate of $600. An employee came out next day, confirmed that the pressure regulator wasn't working at all (house is 35 years old)- pressure was 135psii. He worked diligently getting the garage wall cut to access the valve, rewelding in the new one, and replaced 4 leaking supply valves for the toilets. And while he was here, I asked him to replace a faucet/drain in the bathroom. Total time was over 2 hours. This was the first time I used this firm and will do so again. Fast, efficient, pleasant, and competent.

Bottom line, the building inspector signed off with no questions, which was the goal. The work was done on the scheduled day, and everything looks now better than it did. This was a fair amount of work, so I couldn't expect a lower price (tankless water heaters are much tricker to install correctly than the regular kind). My main interest was that the work be done correctly and promptly so I could complete the original project to replace the furnace. And Mark delivered...he clearly knows the intricacies involved in installing a tankless water heater. And he was quite pleasant to work with.

I spent about $1000 on the job. I thought they were fine, but I felt that it was a little weird because they didn’t pool permits. Since I needed permits for the other works I was having done, I ended up getting the permits after that and it added on to the cost of the job. The guy had to come out and do more work to make it up for it. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable. The work was fine. They were very responsive. It would have been better if they had mentioned that the permits were not included. They came back out right away. Their price was good. I will use this company again in the future.

We came home to find our outside pipe had split, sending water shooting into the yard. We turned off the water and started calling plumbers around 6:00 at night. Despite others claiming to be 24 hour service, he was the only one to return my call. He came around 7:30, finding that it needed a plumbing supply house part, so it had to wait to be fixed the next day. He said I didn't need to be home for them and that they would leave the bill. They came as promised and left the bill. He said I would need to turn the water back on (since it had to sit for a couple hours). When I turned it on it worked as promised. We did not get an estimate, but he said it would take an hour or so. We expected it to cost more than it did.

They seemed to be great. They would call me on the weekend and make sure we were still on for next week. They did do great. They were very reasonable and very reasonably priced. I am not sure what they charged. I think they charged by the piece not the hour. They were there to do a few different things and they gave me a good quote.
