The cabinets and installation work Best provided is great. We picked a dark cherry with a glazed finish. Our kitchen looks as good as any we have seen. We did have some issues with Best. The job was done within the short estimated time Mike gave us. We had problems with new installation 'can' lighting. Two were installed in the wrong location, and when moved to the correct location, the old opening was not patched properly. The opening in the custom counter-depth refrigerator cabinet was too big and needed to be reworked with a repair that is visible. The island designed by Best was not supported properly. Mike committed to return and repair this but has not followed up even though he had specific appointments. I would not hire Best again for anything other than cabinet fabrication and installation.

The first part is selecting the wood type, door style and stain and glaze colors. They are very helpful and we took a door color sample to select our granite style and color. Mike measured and did a very detailed drawing for us to approve. The quote was prepared and within our budget. Once we had cabinets, granite and sink purchased and appliances selected so true dimensions could be supplied to Best a final drawing was done and the contract signed. The work was started and completed in a timely manner. Then, the installation supervisor, is very professional and a skilled craftsman. The few problems we had with door finishes were corrected promptly. The best part about using a custom cabinet company is that they can adjust the cabinets during installation or rebuild if necessary, and they are not all that more expensive, but you get a lot of extra value. These people are very nice to work with and treat their customers with respect. We are very happy with our new kitchen.

A giant hassle. Never on time, didn't keep commitments. Work sloppy. Cabinets nice, installation poor. Installers couldn't speak English, so difficult to communicate issues to them. Invoicing a mess - can't figure out how much they bid vs. how much they did.
