The communication before the installation was professional. The installation was on schedule and went without much drama. The cost was definitely high, probably 1/3 higher than it should be based on my research. But since one of our neighbors seems very enthusiastic about this company, and already went through the quoting process for 5 homes, and I don't want to p*** them off and find another contractor. So I went with the deal.
And that turned out to be a huge mistake.
The lumber used was certainly cheap. The posts were not properly braced so they wobble. One of the posts, which a gate was attached to, started leaning shortly after, such that the door can't open or close unless I push the fence post very hard to straighten it.
I finally decided to give them a call 5 months later to ask them to fix it, given the 3-year warranty. Dylan, who kindly returned my call, told me that the company went out of business on October 2015 (probably just a few weeks after this project was done). He now works for a fence company under a different name, but still the same phone number. Therefore no warranty will be honored. I should find my own handyman to fix it and bear the cost.
Since this is a small job, I will not pursue it further other than leaving this feedback hoping nobody else would repeat my mistake. I can't believe this kind of business practice, that one would tout a 3-year warranty and then go out of business and assume a different name, just to shed that responsibility. If more problems arise with the fence later I may file a lawsuit to have them honor their promise.

With a project of this size and magnitude, there will be issues, and there were; Bill handled any and all of said issues with the patience of a saint, professionalism, and a touch of Italian humor...hard to resist. Our residents found Bill and his crew to be very accommodating and personable and are very pleased with the outcome and pleased with Bill's attention to detail and to any concerns that arose. We first received an estimate from Bill last year when our neighbors were replacing their fence. We weren't ready to proceed at the time, but called Bill almost a year late to give us a new estimate. He was very patient with us (we are terrible decision makers) and came to our house several times. He was readily available for appointments and very flexible. Bill helped us figure out what we needed and helped go between the neighbors. At this point, Bay Pacific has replaced many of the fences on our block. We still have additional fence on two more sides of the property that need to be replaced. We will call Bay Pacific when they are ready to be replaced.

He came out to estimate the job and returned a quote 2 days later. The job was scheduled and then moved up to an earlier start date. The crew arrived on time. Removal of old fence and placement of new posts were completed in day #1. New fence finished on day #2. The workers were neat and cleaned up the area daily. The foreman came back the next week to check the finished job again and see if there were any issues. Bill, the owner, called later to see if there were any gate or other issues. A great experience! A professional job. A great value!
