My 10 years as a low voltage sales consultant at HomeTech Solutions & 7 years in audio, video department at the Good Guys Inc. has given me the knowledge & understanding of all residential technologies that go way beyond just voice, video & data. A solid understanding of today’s high tech AV gear, flat screen displays and the many ways to distribute digital music & video is key to providing the wire backbone of today’s custom homes in the Silicon Valley. Homes wired by the Bay Area Wire Guy use all open standards and are not engineered to a spec requiring proprietary high priced distribution techniques. The home owner will be able to easily integrate any technologies in the future with ease. ​ I take no shortcuts on low priced web stuff when it comes to parts either. The Bay Area Wire Guy uses a hybrid of Open House, Channel Vision & Leviton, picking only the best of each line to come up with a great looking structured wire panel & quality trim-out thought the house. Many of todays integrators focus on selling high prices equipment and AV gear. The Wire Guy focuses on simply wiring the home for any and all technologies and provides a simple approach to gradually implement “tech” as the homeowners need grow or until the budget allows. ​ I have a list of contractors that refer me to their customers as they know these decisions can be overwhelming.
