BAKER'S LOCK & KEY

Great. Issue was addressed and fixed. Info was given to obtain replacement from manufacturer if happened again. Would definitely use again.

Gave good advice and helped me save money. The gentleman gave advice over the phone and was genuinely interested in saving me a lot of money if I could avoid a locksmith coming out to take apart the cabinet. He sold me a generic key that ended up working in a pinch with some wiggling it in the key hole. Good thing we found the original key, though.

They were very kind and it was great to have someone come out the day I called. I expected it to be much more of a hassle but these guys were very easy to work with. I called, explained the issue and then they gave me a quote. After that, the locksmith called me when he was here and he got done in about 20 minutes if that. The bill was exactly what the quote was. Definitely would call them again!

I needed same-day lock/key service and Jorge Diaz answered the call for Baker's Lock and Key.  He was prompt, professional and did complete work.   He arrived within an hour.   He did not try to up-sell us. He was great with our dog.  He provided the number of copied keys we needed for family members etc.

I would definitely use his company again in the future if needed! (though hopefully I won't need to!)

I called at 9 am and my lock was fixed by noon.  They even had the parts to fix my 20 year old lock.  I had been expecting them to have to replace the entire system, but they saved me a lot of money.

Service was excellent!  I called Baker's Lock and Key and was told they could have someone here within 30 minutes.  In about 20 minutes Dawn was at my door!  She diagnosed the problem right away and had it fixed within 15 minutes of her arrival.  She was very friendly and professional and even gave me some tips on how to get the latch on our front door to last longer (the service needed today was for our side door).  I will definitely be using Baker's Lock and Key again!

k, quickly done.My garage door opener has a key accessible lock to be used to open the door in the event of power outages.  The garage is a detached garage with only the garage door for access.  I had lost the key to the power outage access lock and needed a new one made.  The Baker people told me the cheapest way to do it was to bring the lock in and have a key made.  I chose the more expensive lazy person's way and had the locksmith come to my house to make the key.  The BAker locksmigh was at my home within a half an hour of my phone call.  The new key was made in less than 15 minutes.  Excellent work, quickly done.

I called on a Saturday afternoon and was told someone would be out to help me within an hour; thirty minutes later, help arrived. That is quality service! George the locksmith was very friendly, responsive to all my questions, and did a terrific job. A great experience.

Called them because the latch on our front door handle would partially move the lever in the door which locked us out of the house. George gave me the cost for the service call and labor. He promptly showed up, fixed the locking mechanism and replaced it.  He was professional and courteous.  If we have more extensive needs, I would call Bakers' again, it would be worth the money...

Mr. Baker responded promptly to a late Saturday night/early Sunday morning "lock-out" service call.  He was polite, thorough and professional.  My grad student son had broken the door handle/lock mechanism to his studio trying to get in after he locked himself out.  Mr. Baker tried to repair the mechanism before he concluded that it would need to be replaced, which he did, and he made extra keys for the new lock mechanism.  He was so very nice and genuinely concerned about my son's situation.  Based on my experience with similar services from locksmiths during normal business hours, his charges for the service call and labor in the middle of a weekend night were far less than I expected.  (The project took a while because we also had to gain access to the studio through locked outside doors.  No, no one else was "home" to open the outside doors.)  I would use him again in a heart beat, and my son told him that he was going to open a Yelp account just to post a great rating for him.

I called, they came out the next day, re-keyed and replaced a cap on the deadbolt that was broken and, if it had not been fixed, we could have found ourselves locked out unexpectedly when it broke at a later time. She even suggested another provider for a different problem we had. Efficient, timely, professional. No fuss!

I took in two Schlage entry locksets from a house constructed in 1938 that had no existing keys.The shop owner (John?) recognized the style immediately and said that he could make keys but that I should understand that the locks would provide no 'real' protection for the house and made sure that they would be used in conjunction with deadbolts.  He was able to guess within two years when the house was constructed.While I waited (in a chair in the shop) he picked the locks, pulled the cylinders, replaced a rusted cylinder with one he had salvage, and then keyed them alike.  It only took about 20 minutes even with his being interrupted by his coworkers and a customer.  During the time I discussed two other 'keyless' locks at the house that I wanted to replace rather than rekey.  Both were in a locked position and I thought I might have to pay the service call charge to have him come out and pick.  One he advised me wasn't worth the money and that force should be used.  The other he coached me in  how to disassemble the lock from the inside and get to unlock.So given that he saved me a service call and that I can continue to use the knobsets that came with the house, I shouldn't feel bad about being charged $12 for a cylinder that was salvage from a door knob he collected years ago (probably for free), and I should be happy that someone keeps those in stock, but I have to save the 'A' grade on Price for those who give me a deal from top to bottom.But Baker's Lock will get first shot at all my business in the future.
