They took care of it very quickly, efficiency, and for a good price. The price was very, very reasonable. They did the work while I waited. It just took a few minutes! This was the first time I've used them, but I would definitely go back.

Harold asked us questions when we first called in order to see if he could tell us what to do to fix it.  A year ago that worked and it saved us $ becuz we didn't have to have it repaired.  This time, however, we took the clock to him.  He looked it over really well and quoted us a price.  He said he would stick to that price, but if he ran into something that couldn't be fixed or that he didn't expect, he would call us before he did anything.  He had the clock repaired in less than his quoted time and the price was exactly what he quoted.  Harold is very honest and personable, unlike so many business people today.  We will continue to use him for our clock repairs.

The owner charges a very fair rate and is very knowledgeable.  Other shops have been judgmental aboutthe  quality or value of our clocks, but B and H understands the sentimental value of any clock.

very positive and a good learning experience. The shop has lots of clocks being repaired and some for sale. It is like a little clock museum. He and his dad have been in business for 50 years, here in San Jose.

Mr. Liss was AWESOME! His love of all timepieces is evident in the meticulous work that he does. He showed us, in detail, what he suggested doing to each clock, then gave us a very fair price. The work took one week to complete. He even found some old parts and knobs for the antique clocks we have - now they are as complete as when they were brand new! We will always bring all of our clock repairs to Harold Liss!

I brought my Mom's old wall-hung clock in for repair. The hour hand was loose and always was at the bottom facing 6. Harold found a small spindle, inserted it in the shaft and it was fixed. Harold then told me about the clock: German, 1920s, popular. He told me some things to do with it: glue the old joints, wind weekly. He adjuste the chime hammer. He said I could give him $1 if it made me fell better. I told him I'd put him in Angie's List. After abut 20 minutes I left with a repaired clock. We used him years ago for the same clock: reasonable prices, excellent services.
