+ -1 moreGerardo came out with his brother Jose to look at the job and to take measurements. He later e-mailed me an estimate. Once I decided to have him do the work, we scheduled it for a week later. He, Jose, and Manuel did the work. They are professional, punctual, detail-oriented, & very easy to work with. They did an excellent job and cleaned up totally after they were done. I have had Gerardo do other jobs for me, and he himself is always there doing the work with however many helpers he needs depending on the job. He does both big and small jobs. I will continue to have him do other work for me and highly recommend him. The best way to reach Gerardo is by e-mail: [email protected] (that's an underscore between the 2 c's).
Description of Work: Removed an existing wooden half-shed (two walls with a shingled roof and a floor) that was falling apart. The wood was rotten from water and some termites. He built a new half-shed with the same dimensions and style, using pressure treated wood for the base and posts. The finished product is a work of art--very sturdy and extremely well constructed. Also, removed and replaced the wall of a planter box that extends the entire length of the backyard fence. The old wall was also falling apart and becoming very unstable. He replaced the wall and reinforced it with posts every 4 feet, so that it is now extremely sturdy and nice to look at. He hauled away all the old wood and debris and even cut up some old lumber that had been in the old shed because I want to use this for firewood.
