 + -1 moreHe came out and gave me an estimate for the work to be done. He was noncommittal as to the exact date he would do the work, saying it depended on when some new store would be open to get the wood. After a few days of not hearing form him I called and he said his co-worker had suffered in the heat wave that we had, and he'd have to do the work later. So, I waited several more days and never heard from him. I called again and he said he would call me on Sunday night. He never called, and at that point I gave up on him, having wasted almost two weeks of my time.
Description of Work: He didn't do any work, as he never showed up.

 + 7 moreSee above--it was an excellent experience from start to finish.
Description of Work: We met Robert when our neighbor hired him to repair the fence between our properties. It turned out beautiful and was done at a very reasonable price. More recently, we hired him to do a number of odd jobs around our house including repairing a gate and some cupboards in the kitchen, electrical, security installation. He was thorough and did very high quality work for us, also pointing out when there was a bigger problem (rusted pipes in our bathrooms) that needed to be replaced to prevent further damage before he could do the work. He will return next week to complete this job and hang bike racks in the garage. These jobs were relatively simple and I know he can take on more complicated work, so we will eventually ask him to give us an estimate on a kitchen update. He responded quickly to both phone and text messages, arrived early, was polite and considerate. We think we found a gem!
