Dr Ross is so incredibly great!  He loves the dogs and he talks so we can understand what is going on and made a plan of action to try to help this itching problem that had gone on for years from going to other vets who just kept giving her steroids that really don't work.  He is so nice and you can tell he can feel the dogs.  Everyone in the office was also so very nice.  This is the best vet place we have ever found!

What a pleasant trip to the vet!!  Both my dogs loved the personnel and Dr. Ross.  We arrived 15 minutes early and they took us right in since they had time. Usually I have to wait for my appointment time at other vet's offices if not wait because they are running late.  Dr Ross was thorough and friendly. For a brand new visit with 2 dogs and 2 medications, I think 150.00 is reasonably priced too. I feel better knowing my dogs have a great place to go when we need them!

Absolutely outstanding. They are terrific. It was fairly neat. We took our dog in and the vet got down on the floor to examine our dog. He was down wailing around with the dog and he did the whole exam on the floor. I love that. So it wasn't up on the table where the dog was scared to death. He did the whole exam, and the dog was completely comfortable and I loved that. He was so good.

I had taken my cat, Flame, to visit Dr. Solomon once before, and they got along famously. He managed to get my cat to get into his carrier without complaint; he is truly a cat whisperer. 
When I arrived, the vet assistant immediately came to the door to help me with the cat carrier. They welcomed me in, and I immediately was invited into a room. The doc gave my bunny his once over, and since he is healthy and everything else seems well, he decided, with my permission,  not to take his temperature as it might upset him. Dr. Solomon is compassionate, and gentle with nervous animals. 
Each animal was taken back individually for their manicures, and returned happy and well groomed. 
I asked Dr. Solomon about my cat's breath, and he suggested a product that would help. 
I love the way that the doctor and his staff take their time to be affectionate with the animals, and to chat and answer my questions.  I was lucky to be there when they weren't busy (a surprise, seeing as Dr. Solomon has amazing reviews online), and both the Doc and his assistant spent plenty of time talking to me and cuddling my pets. They are friendly and fun to talk to, which makes the whole experience doubly pleasant. He even carried the cat carrier out to my car for me. 
ARCH is twenty-five minutes away from my home. There are several vets a lot closer to me, but I would happily drive all the way across San Jose for a doctor as caring and thorough as Dr. Solomon. Even better, ARCH makes house calls, which is good to know, should there be an emergency.

I'd previously been taking my 13 year old cat to a pet hospital. Every vet visit was a trauma for my poor cat; it was a battle to get her in the carrier, she hated the drive in the car, and she was terrified at the actual hospital. I found Dr Solomon and the ArchVet services on Angie's List, noting that he was a mobile vet service. His hours are really flexible, and I scheduled an appointment for her after work. Dr Solomon was on-time and took great care with his first meeting with my cat. She peed all over him! But, he wasn't phased at all. He gave her breaks as he examined her, while we talked about her history and current issues. My cat was still a little put-off having a stranger take her temperature and draw her blood (who wouldn't), but she and I were far less traumatized at the end of the process. As my cat's condition declined and I made more visits with Dr Solomon, I could see he truly cares about his patients and their owners. We discussed treatment options, and I was happy to know that we shared the same view points on ensuring the comfort of my cat. In addition to being patient and considerate of my cat's skittishness, he was really patient with all my questions, concerns, and crazy worries. I fretted over my cat and seemed to always have something to ask or clarify, and Dr Solomon was always very responsive and patient with me. Unfortunately, my cat passed away, but I know when I find myself adopting more pets I'll be calling ArchVet/Dr Solomon from the start!

We found Dr. Solomon to be knowledgeable, personable and willing to take all the time needed to discuss managing the health of
senior felines.

....Felix was holding his own for a couple of days and we watched him carefully. The vet called back a couple of times on his condition as we didn't want to put him through a bunch of invasive tests or have him suffering. On the 3rd day, although Felix seemed comfortable and relaxed, he went into a major seizure and we rushed him down the road to a vet hospital.  They gave him Valium, and said it could have been a blood clot, but no way to tell without tests.  When I said I thought we should let him go they agreed that was the right choice.

Dr Solomon was almost as upset as we were because he knew we were trying to keep Felix comfortable for as long as he had. He contacted the emergency hospital, got the blood test results, and talked with the vet who treated Felix. Dr. Solomon then talked with my husband and I at length and said we were diligent in trying to do the best for Felix and there is no way to predict this type of occurrence.

It was hard and we questioned our choices, but he was a huge help to us. He spent so much time with us, with Felix, giving us information, monitoring the situation - we felt that we really had an advocate.  Did I mention this was all for $165?

He's a relatively new doctor and is very concerned about the quality of care for his "patients" and their caregivers. I hope he always stays this way.
