They were reliable and fair priced.

The service turned out very well. It turned out excellent. When I mentioned the difference of the color of the window frame and my home they sent someone out to paint the window frames.

We had always had a good experience with John and the final two windows were installed in our two bathrooms this year. In his initial visit I had requested brass handles in the master bathroom to go with the other brass fixtures. When the windows were installed the handles were white. I talked to his office manager and she said brass handles would be ordered and the bill was $80. I told her that since her company agreed to install the brass fixtures in the first place I shouldn't have to pay another $80 for their mistake. They were never ordered. This was a case of very poor customer relations since we had spent well over $20,000 with his company for our other windows and $2,700 for these two small windows.

This was a little bit of a mixed bag. We like it but we need to call them back to get some things fixed. We still are having some minor issues with some of the windows and doors; but they have been very good in working with us. The work was done quickly and promptly but there was some frustration in waiting for several screen doors to arrive. They also were willing to install a dog door but it wasn't entirely their fault. What we discovered was that the particular type of dog door we wanted to use did not fit on the Anderson door we wanted to use. The price was good. I will use them again in the future.

I spent about a few thousand dollars. They are professional. They do what they promise. Their price seemed fair compared to the other companies. Overall, I was very satisfied with them.

We spent close to a year researching different types of windows (wood, vinyl, fiberglass), different type of installations new construction and replacement/retrofit. We decided on Anderson 200 series for a good balance between price, performance and aesthetics. Then we started shopping for installers. We looked at buying the windows and hiring a separate contractor to install and the one stop shop place like Anderson's. We had a few different people come out to give us quotes a few were from Angie's list. One of the last ones mentioned they were Diamond Certified, but they were very expensive. I liked the idea of Diamond Certified, so I looked at their list (which is much smaller then Angie's list). I found Anderson listed, and they had good ratings on Angie's. John came out to our house and was very knowledgable. I was expecting his quote to be very high, since my assumption was Diamond Certified vendors were more costly. I was very surprised that his quote was essentially tied for the other lowest quote we had, but he had much better reviews on Angie's and was Diamond Certified. I signed the contract, he was very helpful in picking out hardware and foam molding for our windows. The timeline he gave us for the order and installation was right on the money. The day the said they were going to begin 5 workers came to our house. I was properly warned of the noise and dust the installation was going to cause, so I prepared by covering a lot of the house in plastic. But the installers put drop cloths down every day and helped me improve my plastic covering which greatly reduced the dust spreading. It amazingly only took them 3 days. They put in new insulation around any small gaps in the windows before they sealed them up. And the city inspections when flawlessly. The final stucco and wood finishing was top notch. Every day when they left they cleaned up the work areas and removed all the drop cloths. The only snag in the whole affair was the floor locks for the sliding door were the wrong finish, it took another month to order the right ones and they came right out and installed them in 30 minutes. Since I was spending so much money I was really concerned that they job was going to be done right and I have to say I was really impressed with the professionalism and workmanship of the whole company. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

The door arrived within the estimated time. The workers arrived on time and installed it faster than the estimated time--it took less than a day, rather than 1.5 days. The door is installed perfectly and the stucco patching they did looked very nice. I would definitely go back.

They were fast and efficient. They also cleaned up well after themselves. The windows look nice.

The windows were installed quickly. The stucco, and wood replaced. One header around a window needed replacing so we paid extra for that. The owner and the office staff were very nice and easy to work with. One window didn't come in on time for the sun-room but this did not cause us a problem. They were quick to rectify the problem. I highly recommend Anderson Window and Door. Since I changed from single pane windows throughout my it is quieter, cooler in the summer, and it felt warmer in the winter.

This is the 3rd time we've used this company over the last seven years. We stopped by their shop and arranged for someone to come to our home to take measurements. Our home is located in Santa Cruz but this has never been a problem. They showed up at the time and day arranged and gave us all the time we needed. The order came in on time and a date was arranged for installation. The crew showed up on time and got immediately to work. This was the easiest job we've given them, and even then we managed to have a less than standard height opening - which the workers dealt with with efficiency and ease. No complaining or moaning. They seemed (as always) to approach installation problems as if they preferred them to easy installs. The area they worked in was cleaner after they left than before they got here. Every job they've done, including framing a window in, matching up stucco and/or wood exterior around doors and windows, and inside sheet rocking has been excellent.

Judging by their responsiveness when adjustments needed to be made post installation, John Scalmanini and his team earned their top ratings. A vendor is truly judged by his attitude and responsiveness upon having to send the installation crew to make adjustment. Upon reporting an issue with the installation John arrived at the home to inspect, and the next day his crew was on location to adjust. Kerry, (the office manager?) was outstanding in answering my phone calls, coordinating and managing my expectations. Bottom Line: A well run quality business. I will definitely use their services in the future.

There was a considerable delay between getting an estimate (Sept.) and getting the installation Dec.), due to delays by my homeowners association, but once we set a date for the installation everything was handled promptly and efficiently. The installation took only half a day. They did a very good job, and cleaned up everything afterwards. I also needed scaffolding. It, too, was set up and removed properly. I am totally satisfied with the result.

They do excellent work. It was a little expensive but I think it was worth every penny.

They completed the project in 6 hours, which met my expectation of 1 day or less.

They were just great! John and Deborah came out for an initial sales call within the week that I called them. They helped me define and design what I wanted I reconfigured some openings) and measured all the windows. The bid they sent me was the lowest of the three I got, but the quality was higher; these were solid wood frames with vinyl clad exterior rather than composite or veneer wood frames. I went into their showroom to see exactly what I was getting and placed the order there. Then John came out to reconfirm measurements and go over details of trim and hardware. I travel a lot and worked delivery and installation around my schedule. They always called a day or two ahead to confirm appointments. There were two surprises. One was that the wood did not come stained, I had to do that after they were installed. I had never asked about that because the other vendors wood windows were fake wood and would have looked finished when installed. John gave me the name of someone who could do that, which added some cost after installation. The second was that before the installation, I received a thank-you-for-your-business gift from them in the mail, totally unnecessary but a measure of what a pleasure they were to work with. The installers took 2 days to complete the job. They laid plastic throughout the house to protect from sawdust as they rebuilt the window openings and cleaned up each night. In fact, at the end, they cleaned up so well they forgot to leave me some sample wood to test stains, but they came back out with that when I called to ask for it. They were all very professional and easy to deal with. I would use them again and highly recommend them.

We had a wonderful experience - from quote to finish. Their Sales Rep Sean was very pleasant to deal with, we had never the feeling of being pressured and knew exactly what we were getting. We also like the fact that their workers are all employed by Anderson, as well as the Milgard windows being produced locally. The construction team was very friendly and excellent workers (even my in-law, a former contractor himself, was very impressed with their quality of work). They cleaned up every day and despite the major work we never had the feeling to sit in dust. They were also very considerate to protect the pond from dust and did a splendid job with the cat door (it got the same molding as the windows which we did not even expect). When it rained we were informed when they'd come back and we LOVE our new windows and door. Their quote was higher than our other quotes, but we were willing to pay for the quality we received. We definitely recommend Anderson !

I was very happy with their customer service and the work performed. They arrived promptly and completed the work in only two days. They sent a large crew to perform the work in order to complete it quickly. The covered everything in plastic, kept me informed and asked questions when needed. Afterwards they cleaned up thoroughly. The windows look great. At the end of the project we did a walk-through to make sure everything was exactly as specified.

They did a very good job as they worked fast and were very precise and in the project. We haven't had any problems with our new windows. I would definitely recommend them and their services to others.

Estimator was on time and they do a recheck to validate the measurements. Work crew was great; did a great job and cleaned up nicely. Be sure to check on hardware; I wasn't aware that I needed it and had to run out at the last minute to get some. Price was a little on the high side, but we needed doors that could withstand heavy rain and wind.

Did not explain the various types of windows. We had all of the windows in our house replaced with very expensive windows: wood on the interior, and we have no window sills. There is no depth to the windows to install shades or blinds properly. We paid extra for mitred frames on the exterior of each window. The workmanship was poor, frames were not mitred. Bad experience and overpriced.

I think it was an exceptional job. The installers were very careful, professional and cleaned up all the broken glass lying around. They showed up on time and were very considerate. The windows look nice and are really beautiful. I would recommend Anderson to anyone.
