It went about as poorly as it could possibly have gone. We had other contractors lined up via Dry Force (who did the initial dry-out), but ATI and our insurance convinced us to switch to ATI. Big mistake! Initially our rip-out had been scheduled for that Friday. ATI delayed the rip-out by 2 and a half weeks! The rest of the story is a similar nightmare - they wouldn't let us even look at cabinet designs until the entire estimate was approved by insurance (this is typically a 6-8 week lead time item). So, at this point, our kitchen has been ripped out, ATI no-showed on a scheduled appointment to __start__ looking at flooring, counter tops, and cabinets, and (since this has been going on since the start of the job), I just fired them. I would never work with ATI ever again, and I suggest you don't either. They just got themselves fired from a reasonably large job - the entire time I just got the impression they simply didn't want our work (for whatever reason)

We are in the beginning stages of working with ATI. The biggest complaint is that they did not communicate clearly what they were going to do and that we should remove items we would need from the kitchen before they came to start demo of kitchen floor. In fact, I thought they were only going to take up a few tiles and a small portion of Pergo to see if it was still wet underneath. I had no idea that they were going to take up the whole kitchen floor and drywall too.
