Had to have my 1 1/2 year old bathroom floor re-tiled. Original company refused to fix the creaking floor. Rod did a fantastic job in a timely manner. Super happy with the job. Would definitely hire again. Honest, professional and hard worker.

Rod was prompt and responsive. The work went very well. He listened to our concerns and gave us his feedback on retiling our walk-in shower. He extended the shower by 2 inches. Rod installed the tile we selected. Rod's experience and professionalism showed in the quality of his work. We definitely will use Rod again.

Rod was a one man crew, and he did demolition and debris haul-off of the complete bathroom as well as the tile work. I would recommend that prep work on the floor is done before tile is laid to make sure floor is completely level. Also, make sure your design wishes are clear. He worked around my issue of having to order extra tile. Bathroom now looks just like I wanted.

Rod did an excellent job.  He was prompt, gave great suggestions and worked with us on the design.  His workmanship was excellent, with uniformity and careful layout.  He often went to extra trouble to do a stylish design where he could have easily cut corners.

Rod did a GREAT job. He was always on time and the work area was very neat ever day when he left. We made a couple of requests for changes in the tile installation and he was very accommodating.

He did an excellent job, the price was very reasonable, he is very nice guy, and I am going to use him again. I chose him because I was going through Angie's List, and he is just down the block from me.

Rod did a nice job removing existing tile and installing marble tile on my fireplace hearth. He was prompt, courteous and very professional while doing the work. He was sensitive to the potential mess created by the demo of the existing tile and was careful to minimize the dust etc. The installation of the new tile went smoothly and quickly. I am completely happy with the result. I would definitely use Rod again without reservation.

He arrived promptly for the estimate. He gave the best price of three places in a written estimate. One company didn't bother to even send a written estimate after looking at the job. He arrived on time to begin. The time estimate for the work was 5 days, but he completed in three and a half by working extra hours. This was appreciated since it was the only working bathroom in this historic house, and the homeowners need to be out of the home while the work was done. The workmanship was fine.

Rod is really professional in everything. Took great care in making sure rough spots could be as level as possible on the concrete floor areas; got wall tile honed to create perfect bull nose edge; all grout lines are clean-looking even with the bull nose base tile along the uneven spots in the walls. He maintained clean site, carries all his own tools, plans out the job well and accurately predicts how long it will take. Could not be more happy!!

Extremely well. Rod was professional, efficient, fast and skillful. Unexpected situations occurred and were resolved without hassle. He was great at helping us figure out how to do the job right and then making it happen. Simply the best.

Rod came right away to give an estimate, and installed the floor tile in a small bathroom. He had to remove the old toilet to do the installation, and the old fittings were worn out, so we bought a new toilet and he installed it for us. Thus the job became more complicated, but Rod put everything back together for us. The tile looks great, and Rod is great to work with. He used drop cloths to protect carpet as he was working and cut the tile outside the house. We highly recommend him.

Rod was great. He was punctual and professional when he came to give me a quote. He walked through the home with me and as I explained what we wanted, he added suggestions, and lots of helpful information. I could tell right away that Rod was a reliable and trustworthy person who I would be more than comfortable to have working in my house. His quote came back to us within a few days, and it was very reasonable. Rod was thrown a few hardballs with our home. 1. We wanted to leave a small area on the kitchen floor open so that we could anchor an island in at a later date. He did all kinds of measurements, and found the best possible solution for us. 2. Our hallway was at two different heights thanks to one area that had previously had a thick concrete and chicken wire bed below tile. Rod was able to perfectly level the area. It took some extra time and mud, but he found the solution. We could not be happier with our slate. It was beautifully done, with a clean transition from kitchen to hallway, grout lines matching up exactly. We have given Rod's name to our friends and plan to have him back in a few weeks to do some back-splash work.

Rod responded quickly to my inquiry with an estimate for the work. His estimate was slightly lower than others. I already had the tile. He offered helpful suggestions. He came on time and completed the work in two days. The work required cutting of a fair number of tiles due to a detail. The result looks very good. Rod was a very pleasant person to have working in our home. We've been very satisfied and would strongly recommend him to anyone needing tile work to be done..

After meeting with Rod (whom I found on Angie's List), we agreed to hire him. His quote was pretty accurate considering the job was a real doozy. Our house was originally built in 1960 and has had several remodels, all by different people. So there were some problems that arose, causing a slight increase in price. It was a heavy-duty job but it was done very well and quite quickly (approximately 2 1/2 weeks from start to finish). My only complaint was that they could have cleaned up a little better. However, I tend to be a neat freak so maybe my expectations are a bit high. However, we had to sweep and vacuum many times when I think they could have done so. But they always put their equipment away and kept everything organized. Very pleasant to have around. And very good at their job.

Rod and his workmen show up and finish the job as promised. The main thing I like about Rod is that he takes issues that arise along the way in stride. Several pieces of our subfloor had to be replaced due to termite damage and the plywood he had to remove needed to be cut carefully around the kitchen cabinets. I'm used to getting a lot of complaints from other contractors but Rod has a matter of fact way of explaining the situation and just addresses the issues.

He came when he said he would, cleaned up at the end of each day, scheduled the work so that I always had access to a bathroom and my bedroom, and finished in the four and a half days he predicted.
