Had a faucet that was old and hard to turn on and off in the tub so my husband tried to take it apart and fix it but he made it worse and water was now leaking pretty bad. Mike from Almaden plumbing came over and fixed in no time. Nice guy and speedy workmanship and you can tell that takes pride in what he does. Would recommend him!

Mike was responsive in returning my initial request for an estimate.  He uses both phone and text messaging which is helpful.  He showed up on time with his crew (including his son) and detailed the job for them.  The guys did a very professional job using all galvanized pipe with threads made on site to provide full runs in between joints.  I would use again based on this experience.  Thanks Mike!

We've been resisting repairing a leaking 30 year old shower for just a
drip. After attempting and failing it myself, we searched Angie's list
for a nearby plumber. I left a message on their service and 30' later
Mike Brewer called, knew the tract and manufacturer of the valve that
needed replacing. After about a 5' phone conversation Mike found the
part, showed up at the front door about 45' later and repairs were
complete in less than 40' just before a family dinner party we were
having which I had told Mike about in our initial call.
The
repairs are excellent, Mike was friendly, and the shower works better
than it has in the 14 years . Mike would have gotten a perfect A across
the board except being in a hurry he didn't clean the shower before he
left. Probably more our fault than his.
We plan on some remodel work this year and we feel we've found the plumber for the job - Thanks Mike!

Mike and his guys are great! Prompt, courteous, easy to work with -- how it should be. We purchased a house with a H20 heater that had been installed by some guy who had NO clue what he was doing. Almaden Valley Plumbing put in a new H20 heater and ran all new vents, drains, etc. The price included the h20 heater. I don't remember exactly how much it was, but it seems like it was right around $1500. We were very happy with the work. On a second occasion, we had an issue with installing a washer dryer where it needed to be. My husband called Mike and he came out right away and fixed it. SO nice to know that we have a plumber that we can count on. We are really very pleased with them and recommend them without hesitation.

The work performed by Almaden Valley Plumbing went very well. They arrived to do the work at the time they said they would and the work was done well. We were very satisfied with them.

The person completing the estimate was in and out within 5 minutes. He was very unprofessional, gave no explanation, and hurried through the process. He stated he was capable of doing the job. After a week and a half, I had to contact him to request the written estimate. He faxed it to me. I opted not to use this company based on the higher bid compared to another company and his lack of interest towards the job.

The person finally came about and hour and a half, after time estimate. He spent quite a bit of time bailing water, out of the meter box, trying to find the leak. He finally found it, but couldn't fix it, until the next day, because of the time. He did bypass the break and hook me up to water, so I would have water without a leak that night. He said he would be back by 8:15, the next morning. He did not come, and finally after several tries I got the owner Mike about 10:30, he apologized, saying he should have let me know. He does all the scheduling and had already scheduled that plumber for something else, first thing in the morning. I left for work and when I returned about 3:30, the work was completed. It involved cutting some tree roots. The bill was $550, but the phone estimate was $200 to 300, so Mike divided the difference with me and I paid $375. He was very reasonable and willing to negotiate.

I had water to the house turned off for some sprinkler repair when I broke off the hose bib. I couldn't t turn water to the house back on until this was repaired. I called and left a message around 7:30 pm. I got a call back that night with an agreement that someone would be there at 8:30 the next morning. The plumber showed up at 8, and gave an estimate of 2 hours. The work was actually completed in an hour.

Mike returned our call promptly. He offered to come in to fix it the same afternoon, but that was not convenient for us, so we arranged for him to come between 10 a.m. and noon the next day. When he didn't show up by 12:30 p.m., I called the office. He called me back and said he would be there by 1:30 p.m. He eventually showed up at about 3:00 p.m. Once he finally arrived, he worked quickly and efficiently, and solved the problem. He did a nice job of explaining what he was doing, and cleaned up after himself. He explained his delay in arriving by saying that he had written down his appointment with us in his own book, not in the office book, so there was a bit of a mix-up. It is possible that we were just unlucky that he arrived so late for his appointment with us.

Plumber showed up on time and did good work.

I requested a bid, Mike Brewer showed up ON TIME. His return visit to complete the work, Mike Brewer and his crew showed up ON TIME. Much consideration was given regarding the placement of outlet pipes in relation to the basement door so clearance was acceptable. I don't think many plumbers would have been so considerate. While they were there they fixed a few minor things around the house that I originally had not asked for without having to book another appointment. Can't say enough nice things about this company. Nice people, the price was very good, they cleaned up nicely after themselves, and they were just overall great people to do business with. I've referred them to several people and will definitely use them again.

This is a very good plumbing company. They had to come and finish what another guy started and never completed. The quality of work they do is very good. Their work is just excellent. I think the people that work for this company are wonderful. I would recommend them because they are good.

The employees that they hire have knowledge about what they are doing and are very fast workers. They re-piped my whole house. Every pipe in the whole house had to be replaced. They had everything looking like new when they were done.

THEY ARE VERY PROMPT IN RESPONDING TO OUR CALLS AND USUALLY COME OUT WITHIN A COUPLE OF HOURS. PERSONALLY, I WOULDN'T CALL ANOTHER PLUMBER BECAUSE I KNOW THAT MIKE FROM ALMADEN PLUMBING WILL COME OUT AND FIX WHATEVER PROBLEM WE HAVE AND DO IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME.
