ALLIED HOME MORTGAGE

Description of Work: Elva educated us and kept us informed of the market conditions for mortgages. We interviewed 4 mortgage people. Elva was the one who was most informative and educated and experienced. She was also the only one to follow up on a regular basis and be a sounding board for fair objective help. She was able to show us the holes in the good faith estimates of 2 we had and showed how she would be up front and transparent with us.

Description of Work: I went to Allied Home Mortgage to refinance my home and to consolidate an Equity Line of Credit that I had. Elva Wormley was terrific to work with. She met with me and listened to what I wanted and we determined several options that she would explore. I received an email the next day with several options to look at. I called Elva and she spent over an hour helping me to understand the various loans and how they would impact me both now and in the future. Once I was comfortable we filled out an application. As the process unfolded I received both emails and phone calls from Elva keeping me aware of what was happening. If there was something unusual that the lender asked for she would call them and get answers from them- even before I asked the questions. She arranged the signing of the final papers, so that it fit my schedule and met me at the title company to be sure that I was comfortable with the process.
