 + -1 moreAkins performed the 150000 mile service on my 2001 Lexus GS. The dealership NEGOTIATED cost for this service was $500. This is the first time the car has been serviced by a non-dealer. Why did I wait so long? Akins was recommended to me by someone in the automotive repair parts industry. The service took 4 hours. They drove me home and then picked me up when the car was ready. The shop was clean and they were working on a few cars. They use factory parts "except where it doesn't matter." They verified the service requirements on line and registered the repair on Carfax. Very nice people, honest and skilled. I'm a customer for life now.
