Placed a large order of appliances in June 2022 for my new house. When the appliances finally arrived in April of 2023 one appliance was missing. I was told that I could either wait an unspecified amount of time for the last appliance to arrive (was simply told it would take "months") with all the appliances simply sitting in their boxes in my house or I may have to pay an extra installation fee for the separate appliance. Apart from this being downright predatory, I agreed on a $600 (!!) ADDITIONAL (in addition to the prepaid $739 installation charge) charge once the final appliance arrived. Well today (May 2nd) the final appliance suddenly arrived and I was charged $1139 in fees to watch 2 men perform ~80 minutes of work. When Airport Appliances was contacted about this their staff were defensive and dismissive to this abusive tactic. Do not trust this business to act in good faith. There is no proof that the extra appliance wasn't just sitting in a warehouse somewhere and this was all a shakedown. They would not honor their purchase agreement to deliver and install the appliances at an agreed upon price. Their employees do not care about the brand reputation.

Buying experience excellent. No pressure and nice sales person. The problems may be on KitchenAid, the supplier. Oven had to be ordered along with trim kit. One week delay went eventually to 5 week delay. We cancelled the order. We may still buy from this store in future, but would first verify if item in stock or if any existing problems with supplier.

We bought our own appliances from Airport Home Appliance.? It was fine.?There wasn't anything particularly outstanding about it, but it worked well.? They were helpful, they took a deposit, scheduled it for a month later, things showed up when they were supposed to, so that all worked out.?I give them A's across the board.?

I cannot say enough good things about Airport Appliances. They came to the rescue when SEARS failed to bring the correct washer TWICE for the Kenmore washer/dryer combo I'd ordered originally, then FAILED to fix the problem as their Customer Service is SO BROKEN AND DYSFUNCTIONAL. People at SEARS didn't return emails or phone calls, and my tenants were left with no way to do their laundry for a MONTH.
When I called Janelle at AIRPORT APPLIANCE she told me they did NOT sell Kenmore. However, FIVE MINUTES after I called, Janelle had very nearly the exact washer/dryer combo that I'd liked so much when I saw it at Sears. There was NO PROBLEM in her calling my building manager, setting up a delivery date and installing the washer/dryer combo correctly. 
I called Airport in desperation on Friday 12. The CORRECT washer/dryer was installed by Thursday 18. 
I highly recommend Airport for their professionalism and responsiveness. I also appreciate the fact that they did NOT charge an expensive delivery charge, even though the office I called was in San Jose CA and my house is in San Francisco. As a matter of fact their total bill was a little CHEAPER than Sears.
The moral of this story? KEEP AWAY FROM SEARS and GO TO AIRPORT APPLIANCE INSTEAD!

I had driven past Airport Appliance on my way to work many times so when I purchased a home, I figured it was a decent place to start for new appliances.  Linda greeted me and spent over an hour going over the available options with me.  They have a large selection for all the major household appliances and Linda was extremely knowledgeable about every product line.
She covered the reliability of various brands and which features were likely to be useful for my family.  Linda then mentioned they carried mattresses as well.  In the end, I opted to go with a top-of-the-line LG fridge, a Maytag washer/dryer pair, a chest freezer, and a new mattress.  Linda worked with me to schedule delivery that Saturday for the fridge, washer, and dryer but the freezer and mattress were on order.
The delivery crew called on Friday evening to confirm they would arrive between 2pm and 6pm on Saturday.  They called again at 3pm on Saturday and were a few minutes away.  We quickly surveyed the entrances to the home and the crew went about their business installing everything.  Everything was finished in under an hour and appeared to be installed OK.  I waited until the next day to inspect everything carefully.  While they had installed the water line to the fridge, they had failed to purge the air out of the line.  Not a huge problem but the ice maker was turned on.  The washer seemed to be working fine but the dryer's "check vent" light came on.  A quick glance behind the dryer showed that they crushed the flexible vent when they pushed the dryer against the wall.

Ordered a Haier Refrigerator by phone from AirportAppliance.com. My sales person was Elliot. Elliot was very helpful and tracked down the unit I wanted. This was on a Tuesday. Delivery was set for Thursday, just a 2 day wait.
The delivery guys were fantastic. Came well within the 4 hour time spread. They unloaded the refrigerator, set it up, moved it into where I wanted it in the kitchen and even took away the packing debris and box. They were friendly and helpful. All this for the $20.00 delivery charge. Hhgregg charges extra for delivery, extra more for delivery inside the house, and even more extra to unpack and set up. Bah.
Very pleased with the service from all sections of Airport Appliance and will order from them again.

I went into the Airport Appliance in San Jose in March 2013 and was greeted by a woman sales professional, Janelle. She was great and understood what I needed. She asked a lot of questions about what I wanted, which save both of us a lot of time. She showed me the LYNX outdoor BBQ equipment, as I was building an outdoor kitchen area. I had been working with a landscaper and it was now time to finalize the BBQ equipment needed. She emailed me all the specs so I could make sure that it would all fit in the kitchen the way I wanted it to. Everything was good, so I ordered them. She estimated 7-10 business days. A week after placing the order, she followed up with me and let me know what two of the items I ordered were backordered by the manufacturer and they would arrive in roughly another 2 weeks. This was not an issue and happy that she was keeping me informed. She had the items transferred to the San Jose store on Bascom Ave, when they arrived so that I could pick them up. The final two pieces arrived 3 1/2 weeks after the order was placed, but she did communicate through the whole process. The BBQ was completed in June and is fantastic!
Because I was so pleased with her service, I returned to see her in Oct. With her knowledge and expertise, I purchased a Maytag front load washer and dryer with the storage drawers. She looked up all the competitive pricing on her iPad and showed me. We decided to look into a new bed because Airport Appliance can combo it with appliances. Our bed was 15 years old and it was time. We bundled a Tempurpedic with the washer and dryer. She beat all the competition. Because I had already worked with her, I knew the service that she gives to her customers and the sincere follow-thru, it was no surprised that she did it again. We had to order the mattress, but the washer and dryer were in stock. We decided to wait until everything came in for delivery, which took the 9 business days. When she knew when it was going to arrive, she called us to schedule a good day for delivery. The negative about the delivery is, you can not pick a morning or afternoon, only a day. The plus to us was, we could set up delivery for Saturday or Sunday.
Ask for Janelle, she assisted us several times and provided us with great service.

but it didn't happen. my husband asked him for quotes on four other appliances, which included a nice fridge too. the prices did return back great, but when we were ready to purchase, SXXXX told us the price was b/c of the fridge (which by the way is $300 above what i can find elsewhere..), so i decided to assert myself and asked him that we thought the discount was b/c of the range we bought at full price last week, but he shrugged and feigned ignorance of the bargain, and my husband said perhaps it has to do with a single transaction issue.. but good part was when SXXXX tried to close the deal on the other stuff, my husband told him that we will have to think about them and walked away.
