ACCENT WINDOW SYSTEMS

I had windows installed by this dealer in the spring of 2010 and when I showed up to sign my invoice, the manager (Tony) was having problems with his delivery truck driver, and offered me the job. I thought Tony was joking, but he was serious. When the window installers arrived in the morning of our scheduled appointment, I asked them how they would install the windows. They replied that they would spray an insulating foam in-between the frames and the windows to make it air tight and energy efficient. I spent the morning reading a book upstairs in my room while they worked around the house. When the installer got into the room I was in, he turned to me and sad, "Here's your foam!" and sprayed just a little bit on the top left of the window. I thought that was odd because there seemed to be more gaps where the insulating foam would fit. A little while longer, they said they were done. I examined the work and noticed that my sliding glass doors had gaps so big I could fit my fist into the gap between the windows and the house frame. The installers did a terrible job in measuring the correct window size on most of the windows. I found out the only window they sprayed foam in was the room I was reading in. I walked around my house outside, and also noticed that they caulked some of the windows all the way around, and others had no caulk on the bottom of the windows. I called Tony, and he never returned any of my calls. I ended up doing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Tony responded to the Bureau, and denied everything, fist saying that there was not enough room to spray the foam in the windows, and second that the installers did not install caulk on the bottom of the windows because the water needs to drain out... why were some calked and others not... and the window they sprayed foam in was a much smaller gap than other windows where they did not spray foam... basically he was lying and denying everything. I sent him pictures of the space in the windows and he never replied. Honestly, this company should be in jail.
