They did a pretty good job as far as working. I had a problem with getting orders mixed up and needing somebody there to verify the orders. A gate that was 4-foot high was put 3-foot high. They switched over the fence 5 foot from the edge of the sidewalk. The foreman that was supposed to be putting like a sand thing to the steps sort of pounds it in and scraped it off and made sure it was smooth. The other employees seem pretty good. The owner seemed quite nice. The most problems we had was with the foreman. The gate was replaced at the right height the next day. The foreman wasn't very careful with details. A person needs to be present when the work is done and verify that everything is in the right sections. They also put a sign up on the property before they started work and they never came to remove it.

Everything went according to what they said they were going to do. It took a while for them to get started, but once they started, they finished. Their workmanship was very good and their price was very fair.

AB Landscaping was the lowest of 8 bids, however we chose them because they seemed more conscientious than the others. The project went well. We are happy with the results and plan to have them back to re-landscape our yard.

I liked their quality of work. I would recommend them to others. My neighbor is actually going to use them.

They kept in constant contact. The job took a while to do with a full crew. They were great and we have no complaints. I would highly recommend them and use them again.

Work went well until paving pattern installed was the wrong pattern. They came and had to redo pattern several times until it was the correct one. Communication on the pattern type was not given to the installers correctly. They finally got it right and the result was great.

The work was fine and there were no problems.

Contacted AB in May 2008. Came out to evaluate the job within a few days and then met again with owner after more specifics were obtained. AB also met with both patio door representative and general contractor so the job was properly coordinated. AB was far and away very precise and had a understanding of the project that was beyond that of the others involved. The contract with AB was signed in early June and AB waited until the patio doors were in place and then began with their work. AB showed up on time and always had a full crew on site. They continued with the job without skipping any days other than weekends. The total job took approximately 3 weeks to complete. Overall they were very professional and complete.

They were fantastic. Our experience was very good. Victor runs the company and he is very good. The pricing is very good and the quality of work is excellent, and they are very professional. We spent $3500 on that job.

Some parts of the work were good others were not so good. The workers were good at some tasks but so-so on others. Overall, I felt it was under-managed. Too much was left to the workers and there wasn't enough quality control.

The same crew comes out every week and they cut the grass, trim the bushes and clean up the yard in general. They do a great job. They are here like clockwork. I have also dealt with their office and they are very good with scheduling, etc.

They do a great job. They keep up the work for us. The price is a bit high but they do excellent quality work so I think that it is worth it.

They were knowledgeable and knew what to do and how to do it. They showed at the time they said they would. They cleaned up after themselves. We are satisfied with their work.

The project was done in July, a busy month, so we had to wait for people and equipment to be available. Communication with the workers was hard when Francisco was not on site. There were miscommunications in a few areas that caused minor delays. The quality of the work is good and the project was completed very close to the original estimate.

Victor Arellano (the owner) started in masonry, then went into landscaping. He went into business about a decade ago and now has about 8 people working for him. He has trained his men (several are related to him) and they all arrive promptly and work hard whether he is there or not. He stops by the job site a couple of times a day. Most of his men do not speak much English, but he is very accesible by phone. I had a concern about how one thing was being done and he stopped by and had them redo it. He is good about consulting you if changes need to be made. He took the plan we had, made a couple of excellent suggestions, and turned it into reality!The masonry is beautiful - we are very happy with the entire yard. A brick in the driveway cracked about a month after completion and he came back and replaced it. His price was in the middle of the bids we received.

They did a phenomenal work. They were very dependable, and had excellent workmanship. This company had an excellent quality approach to the job that was performed. They had a very good price for what I had done. I did do some shopping around, and they had the lowest estimate. They were very efficient, and also very professional.
