Aaron Overhead Doors - San Jose

In one word: FABULOUS! Immediately after input of my info on Angie's List, owner Larry Conte called! Came out same day (Wednesday). Followed Covid safety protocols. Provided us with great information and advice. Hubby and I made selection then and there. Door was installed on Monday by Paul, who was fantastic and answered all questions. Door is beautiful and SOOO quiet. Love it!

Very quick response, bit pricy but overall very good work.

Everything went fine. I had them adjust my old garage door opener. He got it to work but at the time said it was difficult to adjust and might not last much longer. Sure enough a couple of months later it was having problems again (wouldn't stay down while closing). I did have to question a bit the initial replacement he suggested, after research, to go with a bigger motor and chain instead of belt (heavy wooden door). One of his employees actually installed the door and remote repeater. It took a couple of hours to do the work so I was glad I wasn't doing it. Did a nice job and the door is working great now.

It was excellent, there was no problem, he was right on time, took care of the problem and did a great job. He fixed it for the Big Deal's amount. He was polite, professional, and never made a mess.

They said the rollers were fine and better than the ones they have as replacements so they suggested that I leave them on.  Hardly worth $99 for 10 minutes work.  I didn't bother to call them back or follow up, so I gave them a "C" since I did not give them a chance to come up with a remedy.

It was great. Everything went as expected and was fine.

Aaron Overhead Door came out to tune up our garage door which was acting up--only sporadically opening and closing.  Scheduling the appointment was quick and easy and the technician was very punctual.  Work was completed efficiently and we have had no problems since.  Will definitely useagain.

I took advantage of Aaron's special for a garage door tune-up, with intent to have them look at the door spring tension adjustment that was causing the door opener to "strain" when opening the door.  While this adjustment was not a typical part of a garage door tune-up, they were happy to accommodate.  The person working on the door was very knowledgeable and explained to me the various steps he was taking.  He used a very methodical approach, and was clearly safety conscious.  The end result was a job very well and courteously done.  While I would always go out and get multiple bids for any major work to be done, Aaron's would certainly be at the top of list based on my experience.

I bought their BIG DEAL, and they came as promised, but did NOT replace all of the rollers, and the garage door still closes stiffly. I did not call them back, but decided I would chalk it up to experience, since I did not closely inspect the work as soon as they were done.

The service tech came to my home promptly and was professional.  Although I was in the garage with him asking some questions along the way, he was all business, there to do the job and finish.  The tuneup went well (what do I really know as I'm not a garage door repair expert), but while he was there and testing the door, the motor/door now made a weird churning or pulling noise when it was really quiet going up and down before.  He tried a few different times to fix it but basically gave up and said that's the way it was going to be.  I also had a light on the garage door unit that lit up on both sides and now it only lights on one side.  They were new bulbs that he switched out for me during the visit so I doubt it's the bulb, but haven't checked yet.  The motor noise from the garage still bugs me when I'm in the garage and can hear it.  I'm mostly in the car when it goes up/down but when I'm in the house and my husband comes home I can hear it from inside, not good.

They arrived on time, took 30 mins to do all the work. very efficient.   took my over a few steps with me teaching me how to maintain my door. door is super quite now.
