Sean Rinde founded Aardvark Architecture on the principle that the most enjoyed homes are designed by dedicated architects that truly know their clients and love seeing the process thru from start to finish. It can take some time to get to know a family's personal habits, life styles, and preferences, but that is time well spent. Because only then do clients get to live in homes perfectly tailored to fit their current and future needs (home office anyone?). For over 10 years, Sean has been hustling for his clients up and down the Peninsula and helping them translate their dream homes into reality. And he's loved (nearly) every minute of it! The construction of a well-crafted custom home can (and often should) take an appropriately long time. But design and permitting doesn't have to take long. Aardvark's unconventional and flexible process for design and permitting gets construction started sooner and without sacrificing on the happiness of designing homes. Aardvark stands by the General Contractors in their competitive bid pool, and works proactively with them to make sure you actually get what we've designed together. Once permits are in hand and construction begins, Aardvark remains dedicated to making sure the design is built to the highest standards. Attending collaborative meetings during construction helps keep everyone in the chain on task and keeps the momentum (and fun!) going.
