We didn't like him, we found a better guy. We just didn't think he was very good. He was expensive.

I spoke with him about doing additional work. After we spoke, I did not feel comfortable using his services going forward.

It was okay the company itself was a little slow getting the work done.

Paul was very professional.  He took his time, and explained the process to us as he went along.  We plan to call him again.  He does big and little jobs, so that is a plus.  His prices are very reasonable!

I was impressed with his advice on the door squeak and ways to prevent it from happening in the future as well as fixing it.  The shelving was installed as requested but unfortunately the hanger rod was not installed as level and sits somewhat askew.  This does not remove functionality from the rod but does leave some ascetic issues with the slightly unlevel leaning.

This experience was not great.  I made an appointment with Paul to come over and do some minor plumbing.  I set up the appt. for Aug 4th at 1 PM.  At about 1:20 PM, he had not shown up or called me.  I called him.  He had forgotten about our appointment.  He quickly came over and when I showed him the plumbing I wanted him to do, he told me it would take at least 4 hours to do.  Therefore, I had him install my 4 foot medicine cabinet instead.
Paul first said the mirror was too big for the space--hello! I measured before buying.  Next, he said he'd need help getting it up there.  No problem, I helped him with it. 
The next day when getting something out of my medicine cabinet, I read this "Warning sticker" on the inside just above one of the screws used to secure the mirror to the wall that said, screws must go on top where the support board it.  Thus, I now have to empty my cabinet, remove it, and reinstall it properly.

He replaced the front door key lock set. First off, we set up a time /
date for him to come by, it was a Wed morning and I took time off to be
home for the service call. The time came and left and he never showed. I
called him and he told me that he has to take care of a personal issue,
however he never called me to reschedule. We rescheduled for a few days
later and he showed up on time this time and performed the service.
However, he doesn't seem very experienced with performing the task.

The handyman did a good job.  Changed a lightbulb that I couldn't reach, moved some heavy objects from upstairs to downstairs.  But he was dirty and didn't wash his hands before working.  So, I had smudges on my walls.

Went badly. Wasted time and money.

Paul answered his phone on a saturday morning, and showed up on a saturday afternoon to fix my door.   The repair took much longer than he (or I)  initially expected, but he did a very thorough job, including trip to HomeDepot for supplies, and when he ran past dinner time, stayed to finish as much as was necessary to insure a lockable door.  He promised to return another day to finish the threshold installation and replacement of a piece of frame, which he did.   

He was right on time. He was very pleasant, very detailed, and very professional. He explained everything and made some recommendations about what kind of door to buy. We knew exactly what he would do. He installed the door exactly where we wanted it and also cleaned up after himself. The quality of his work was excellent and his price was pretty standard. Our experience with him was a good one.

He was professional and responsive, and charged me $400 for the work. I would rate him highly.

Shimmed lower and middle door hinges to improve door position. Enlarged lock strike plate to accommodate deadbolt. Work done well and within estimate.

He communicates with me very well. We discuss the projects, how he is going to do it and what materials he plans to use for it. He is very meticulous and does a great job. I think the prices are moderate.

It was actually a pleasure. Very competent, thorough, polite. Excellent work. I will hire him again.
