A Better Way Housekeeping

I've been using this service for several months and have mostly been satisfied--there were a couple of bumps in the beginning as the two-person team got one of the people swapped out a couple of times, but we finally settled on one person, who is just fine. She's punctual, polite, efficient, is careful with our small artworks and is mindful of our pets. We have service every two weeks. I am hopeful that as this person gets more efficient at cleaning our house that I will be able to add the occasional small job to the visit.

They worked for 4 hours. I think it is $20 per hour. I like their housecleaning service. They're generally professional and they got along with my dog.

The two cleaning people arrived about 20 minutes past the scheduled arrival time, and promptly told me that they had a time limit of 3 hours.  I was a bit surprised as the "Big Deal" explicitly said that they would "take all the time necessary" to clean the home thoroughly.
They did stay slightly beyond their allotted time and they did put in effort while they were there.  
The offer said:
Includes cleaning the interior of oven and refrigerator (THEY DIDN'T DO THIS).
Valid for homes up to 3,500 square feet; service provider will take as much time as is required to complete all cleaning items (remember the 3 hour limit???); larger homes can be cleaned for an additional $25.00 per hour
Kitchen cleaning includes: cleaning all cabinets and appliances; moving your small appliances and other items and cleaning the counter area; cleaning the tops of all items and replacing them; scouring your sink and sweeping or thoroughly mopping your floor ( No appliances were cleaned, but the rest was done).
Bathroom cleaning includes: cleaning showers, tubs, toilet, and sinks; cleaning and disinfecting all fixtures and treating any mildew; cleaning your mirrors and the shower door tracks; moving most vanity items and cleaning your counter areas; cleaning the tops of vanity items and replacing them; cleaning your bathroom cabinets and floors.  (T hey did fine on the bathrooms).  
General cleaning includes: changing the linens and making the beds; cleaning wall decorations, picture frames, light switches, doors, and door trim; dusting, cleaning, and/or polishing all furniture and all decorative items; sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming all floors ( They didn't change the linens or polish any furniture, but they did make the beds).
Deep cleaning services include: cleaning the blinds, base boards, window sills, ceiling fans, and other high dusting.   (I guess this was done, hard to tell).

So overall, it was a decent job on a shoestring budget.  They did arrange the appointment quickly and generally showed up  close to the appointment time.  The people did work hard when they were there, given the constraints of how much time they were allotted to clean.

I bought the service with an AL coupon and had no trouble setting up the housekeeping date. However, that morning, the service emailed me to let me know that the housekeeper assigned to me had called in sick. A Better Way offered me a second, smaller amount of housekeeping at a future date as compensation for the inconvenience, which I REALLY appreciate and it's nice to see that kind of customer service and a company standing behind their product/service.
We rescheduled for today (10/27) for 2:00pm. At 2:35 no one had showed up or called me. I emailed and called a little later and left a message--the recording says "we are on another line" but when the manager called me back at 3:40pm she said she had been out of the office. So if my cleaners had tried to call the office to say they were going to be late no one would have been there to take a message--cleaners probably need to be given client's phone numbers to call or text if they are held up by traffic, etc. 
Around 2:45 or so my cleaners Irma and Maria, showed up. They were very nice and did a good job--they are clearly hard workers and although my husband and I both work at home, making it a bit  more difficult for them, everything looks good. They were also very careful not to let my indoor cats out--hugely important to me as we live on a busy street.
I cleaned houses for a few months when I first got out of college so I know that it's hard work, and I also know how much energy it takes to make the effort that distinguishes between an OK job and a job well-done--such as making sure to vacuum/dust the baseboards. My floors look great, but my baseboards did not get dusted (something I specifically mentioned at the time of purchase--although the miles of bookcase shelves did. On the plus side, my stove is gleaming and the bathroom looks great. I'd be happy to have Irma and Maria clean my house again but I would probably put in a little more supervision.
I have an appointment for the second cleaning from this service the Monday before Thanksgiving; I will update this review at that time.
Overall--a good experience once they got here. 

We used Better Way Housekeeping to do a move out cleaning.  They did an excellent job, and the cost for the cleaning itself was not bad.  We were also required to have the windows cleaned by the property management company, that part cost more than the cleaning itself, which I thought seemed a bit high.
The cleaning team was prompt to the job site and finished a bit early even.  We checked the work after, and they did a really good job, cleaning everything including the appliances.
Overall we were happy with them and would recommend them.

It went very good, would always work around my schedule and very professional and worked with me to find a housecleaner that i liked and could keep her.

My brother was very satisfied with them. I know the price was very reasonable. They were great about responding.

Have used this company twice, and won't do it again. Yes, they do a "cleaning" but it isn't a thorough one.I hired them to do a move-in cleaning after a remodel and they really just did a cursory wipe-down of everything. They didn't show up with the number of people they said, 2 instead of 4. And half the crew left after 1 hour, so it was just one guy. I had to hire another cleaner to come in 2 days later.
Some obvious defects:
- 1 shower completely uncleaned
- Cabinets just wiped around edged. Obvious that a ton of dust was in the middle of every shelf
- Didn't clean out several drawers
- windows had streaks. 

I really like the woman who I dealt with. They were less expensive and they had good recommendations on Angie's List. She sent these people out and they do a good job. I thought the cleaning was well done.

The experience was awful. Every two weeks they would send someone new to clean my house so I never got to know the people who cleaned my house. Every two weeks I had to show a new person around the house where to clean and what I wanted. It was exhausting. The owner also told me that the employees would understand me, but often they couldn't speak english and we had trouble communicating what needed to be done. The owner contantly apologized, but nothing ever changed.

They also would leave large parts of my home uncleaned, the only time I saw them give my house a good cleaning was the few times I stayed home and baby sat them while they cleaned. Eventually I had to ask for my key back because I felt unsafe with new people entering my house every few weeks, however I asked them to please come back in two weeks and I would let them in. I haven't heard from them since.

The housekeepers are great!  Every other Friday I get a call from Luis confirming that they will be coming to clean my house on Saturday morning.  He and Adela spend about 2 hours cleaning my house.  They're very nice and friendly and I even get to practice speaking Spanish with them.  Another plus is that they aren't afraid of my dog.  All other housekeepers I've had have been afraid of my little terrier.  They love her though and even speak Spanish to her too.  They've always been punctual, they haven't broken anything, and their price is reasonable.

They were friendly and nice and did a good job.

Cherie called to set up the appointment with originally my second choice of times, but then called back when my first preference for the time of cleaning became available. The cleaners were on time, efficient, and incredible. The house was shining when they finished. I'm not sure that the glass of my shower stall has ever been as sparkling clean except when it was brand new and had never been used. The special was for two hours of cleaning, but Maria was cleaning around my kitchen garden window (it takes a contortionist to do this) when the time was up, and she was determined not to leave until it, too, was spotless.

The workers (Louis and Maria) were about 20 minutes late in arriving, but got right to work.  They were done pretty much when the company estimated they would be.  Their work was very good; not exactly 100%, but nearly so, I am quite pleased.
I am somewhat disappointed that they would not clean the rug area as well; I *almost* looked around for another company, but decided to let them do the work; so I'll still need to find someone else to do part of the house-cleaning.  I don't know if this limitation is standard in the business or not; either way, I would have been much more satisfied if they had been willing to do the complete house-cleaning job, especially since I have to take time off work to meet people, each time I need another job done.
So, overall, I would say they did a very good job, but I still feel that the overall job of "cleaning the house" was only partly done.

It went well for the most part. The person that did the house cleaning said she didn't need directions to my home but ended up being an hour late. The price was really fair. She was really thorough and did a good job. She was really easy to work with about what I did and did not want to be done.

They do a good job and we will continue to use them.

They showed up, they were prompt and they did the job.  Their price was reasonable.  I had one incident and that's why I stopped using them, but they responded and resolved it.  I would use them again in the future if need be.

I have used them for several years. I think there an excellent company, extremely fair in the pricing and the workers are very competent. I currently restarted my contract with them. Originally I chose them from the phone book.

A Better Way Housekeeping is just that a Better Way to get your house cleaning done!!!

The owner Sherry is great she very detailed and asks questions when giving you an estimate, odd though thy don't come out and see your house, it's done over the phone. I was kinda skeptical at first  but took a chance boy was happy I did their great service and great cleaning.

I scored and got Jose and Consuelo to do my house cleaning, I adore them their through and very detailed, my house smells so clean and fresh after their done... But most it's really clean.  They give you a reminder call they day before which is great for us busy people.

Most of all the company and it's worker strive to make you happy!!!!! I am stilling using them, don't see a need to look as I found the best!!!! I would highly recommend them to all!!!

I felt A Better Way was very satisfactory. They were very thorough and professional. I would recommend A Better Way. Their price was also good.

Other than a small initial glitch it goes well. Carmen asked me where I wanted her to start and I told her anywhere and then for the community room close by. She does not need my supervision and does not slack in my absence. I will keep hiring Carmen. I am not allowed to duplicate keys so I must be here.

The two ladies that showed up were very nice and did a great job. Everything was done in about 5 hours and clean as a whistle. I'd use them again.

I have used the company for 4 years as needed. I will simply telephone them to schedule an appointment. They are accommodating to come within a reasonable amount of time. If I were to telephone them far enough in advance, I could request a particular cleaning team.

The level of service was great. The cost however was way off of the original estimate. They quoted us $200. The work was done well though and I was pleased with the quality.
