Our experience with “Screen Man Shane” of Triple Screens was, to put it mildly, unsatisfactory and we do not recommend him. Shane showed up on May 17, 2016, an hour earlier than arranged, which wasn’t a problem. He said it would take about two days to do the whole house. He and his girlfriend got to work quickly, with her cleaning the windows as he fabricated the screens onsite. At the end of the day, he asked to keep his equipment in our backyard rather than pack it up, which we readily agreed to. On Wednesday, May 18, 2016, Shane alone showed up. I reviewed what was needed to be done, which included some door screens and about four screens on the second floor in the rear of the house. As he worked during the morning (I had the morning off and stayed at home) he asked me if the gardeners were coming that day, and I said they were. He said he didn’t like to work with the gardeners around -- they blew dust on his stock and equipment and interrupted things. I offered to get the gardeners to work around him, avoid the backyard, or even cancel the visit altogether so he could finish the job, and he refused to stay. He asked when they would come -- about 3 PM -- and that he would be packed up by then. Shane also wanted payment for the screens he completed, which I readily agreed to -- $610. He said that he had other jobs lined up, but I could call and we could schedule his return to finish the job. Since I hadn’t heard from Shane on Thursday, I called him on the morning of Friday, May 20, 2016 to schedule a return to finish the remaining six screens. He said he was busy and would call back. He called my home number when I was out that afternoon, and in a message said that he was booked for three weeks and would not finish the job -- we would have to hire another contractor. I called him shortly thereafter, when I returned home, and said that this was unsatisfactory, that he agreed to complete the job. i also said that, unless another contractor had access to the exact same framing and screening materials that Shane used, the screens would not look the same. He refused to come by and finish the job, and i said that, unless he completed the job he agreed to, we would write him up on Angie’s List and Yelp. He hung up on me. In sum: Shane cherry-picked the easy windows to do and was paid for them, and abandoned the job before doing the harder parts he agreed to complete. When asked directly, he refused to complete the job he agreed to, and did not recommend any alternative window screen provider who could finish the job, leaving us in the absolute lurch. The windows he completed are attractive and seem sturdy, and in fact look very good. However, we do not recommend him because he abandoned the job before it was finished and was not honest about his intent to return.

Shane was prompt to respond to my initial call and scheduled a time for later in the week.  He was prompt to arrive.  Terrific work ethic, very friendly and knowledgeable.  Materials used were of very high quality.  He reviewed the completed work with me and my husband.  I would have no reservations in recommending Shane to anyone needing to have screen work completed.

Shane was terrific -- polite, knowledgeable and professional.  His was the lowest quote that I received and when he arrived and evaluated the job he told me that several of the windows could just be rescreened since the frames were still in good condition.  That saved me additional money.  He has a really amiable personality, works quickly and efficiently and did a great job.

Shane from Triple Screens is as professional as they come and the service he provides is beyond excellent. I needed 22 window screens and 2 screen doors custom made and installed and Shane did an awesome job with each and every single one of them. I had called several different window screen companies and Shane's prices were by far the lowest. Add to that the materials he uses are of good and solid quality, and how he takes his time and doesn't rush to make sure he does every window screen and door just right..it's a no brainer who to call when you need window screens/doors. Like I mentioned earlier, I didn't just need a couple windows screens. I had quite a big job and his schedule was very booked, but he went out of his way to come and make the screens on the weekend to have them all done and ready after I explained to him that I was having relatives arriving and staying soon. Have already referred him to friends and will def use again. Highly recommended.
