The removal of the countertops was a little messy and the cleanup afterwards was not the best.  We were told to just remove everything under the sink.  We should of removed everything under all the counters. Dust was on everything.

The installation went exceptionally well.  The installers (different from the countertop removers) knew how to splice the seams together as if it was one complete countertop.  The installation took only one day and it looks great.

I installed new garbage disposal, new faucet and all the plumbing.

The cabinet refinishing was done by another team of workers.  They removed all the doors and drawers and sanded, restained, and sprayed lacquer for sealing.  It was done on site in my yard.  They completed all this work in one day.  Again it was very professional and the finished product looked like brand new doors and drawers.

It went great, and we absolutely love our new bathroom.

Frank Jr. - who owns the business along with his father Frank Sr. - was a total dream to work with in every way.  Frank is very warm and friendly, and you always feel you can ask him any question.

Before the job began, Frank wrote up a ten-page document detailing every element of the job and a calendar for the work.  He walked us through every step to make sure we understood and had all our questions answered.  I'd never worked with any contractor who had been so organized and detailed in working with clients, and I loved it.  It took out all the intimidation I often feel working with contractors who know so much more about the work than I do.  Frank really wants to make sure his clients are happy at every step of the way, and he is in touch every day of the job to make sure his subcontractors (plumber, tile guy, electricians, etc.) are all working to our satisfaction at the house.  Most days Frank also stops by the house to check on the work himself.

All the subcontractors were very good, friendly guys who were respectful to our home.  Honestly, having workers in the house every day for a month is pretty disruptive, and Frank and their working styles made it tolerable.  The subcontractors all did very good work, with the exception of the electricians, who made a few too many mistakes that they later had to come back to fix, which was a little annoying.  They were all terrific about answering questions.

In short, they do great work, they are very thorough and honest, and you always know what is going on with the job.  I cannot recommend L&W highly enough for a bath or kitchen remodel.  We would definitely use them again.

They were great to work with. They were here when they said they would. They also gave me a schedule of what they would do and kept to it. I was happy with the quality of the work and if anything needed to be touched up they were right there to do it.

Overall, it was pretty good. We found them through Angie's List. They are nice folks. Very friendly. They have a nice showroom and take plenty of time to explain what needs to be done, what your choices are (they are many!), what the contract involves. The work itself was well done. The removal of the old materials went quickly and with a minimum of mess. The plumbing work was done by subcontractors they know well and work with a lot, so the the plumbing work went fine. The tile work on the floor is great. They used a special epoxy grout which cost about $80 more but is stronger and stainproof. The shower tile looks great. We helped created the design and they executed it perfectly. The only tile work that we were unhappy with is the grout line joining one side of the tub to the tile. It keeps peeling. Several attempts to get the contractor to fix have not succeeded. We are handling ourselves, now. The job was done on-time and on budget.
