Performed quality work in a timely manor at a low price

The work was performed by Chris Gould of John Gould & Sons. Chris was, in a word, fantastic. Very professional, efficient and clean. We recently remodeled a toilet room in our house (4x4 feet). The project was small, but it required a lot of prep work on the new drywall and trim (crown, chair rail and baseboard). Chris did a great job on the prep work and the painting. We changed colors mid-way during the project. Chris handled this change very well and was able to paint the new color without exceeding our budget. We should mention that we have an 8 month old daughter and Chris was very considerate of our family and worked around our schedule and worked quickly and extremely cleanly. Chris also fixed the ropes on our double hung window and resealed the newly installed glass window, both of which were an added bonus. In addition to the bathroom, Chris sanded and painted our front door, which was very weathered. I was impressed that Chris was able to quote the project at our initial meeting and start the project the following day. Chris' quote was accurate and fair. We definitely felt that we received quality workmanship for a great price. We would definitely recommend Chris without qualifications.

Came for an estimate the day after my initial contact. The father (it is a father and son team) was extremely friendly and professional. Suggested to paint only one coat as the original part of the job was already well primed (unlike other contractors) and quickly emailed me a fair quote. Most of the job was preformed by his son whom is extremely meticulous and well mannered, John came occasionally to supervise and lend a hand. Halfway through the job I asked John to add prepping and painting for some new trim work and we agreed on time and material for the additional work instead of a firm price. The final cost was extremely fair and I was pleasantly surprised. I will surely use this company again.

The painter did an excellent job even though there are several hard to reach spots above the kitchen cabinets. I'd highly recommend the company.

John was very prompt and showed up right when expected for the estimate. He emailed me later the same day with the quote and was ready to start work within a week. He asked that we removed small, breakable objects if possible and stated that his group would take care of moving furniture. Work took 2 1/2 days. Paint looks very good, but noticed small bits of stray paint after he left. Overall happy with the experience.
