I had good experiences with them. It's a pretty good place. It was a cheap deal because I didn't have to have blood work done or anything. I've been going to this clinic for over 10 years. The service has always been excellent. Surgical services have been excellent as well. Most recent vet I've used is Dr Christina La Cerda. She is very caring and does not oversell services.

All my animals are rescue animals and my dog is especially sensitive as she was battered, abused and not socialized at all when I adopted her at 1-1/2 years old. Dr. Jeannine Berger is the behaviourist at the SPCA and is absolutely wonderful with all animals, not just the abused ones. I highly recommend her and all staff members. They are the absolute best!!

The SF SPCA vet hospital is an amazing place. It's large, beautiful and state-of-the-art. They even have free parking. But that's not why I bring my dog there. It's the people -- they're fantastic. My dog means the world to me and the veterinarians there are the best in the city. I've used four of them on various visits and have always gotten highly competent and compassionate advice on my dog's health.

Recently, my dog broke off one of his front canine teeth. He snapped it clean off at its root -- a serious and painful injury. I rushed him in for emergency care and got to see a doctor quickly. I had an appointment for the extraction the next day and the surgery went perfectly. Greyhounds are not easy dogs to work on or put under, but they knew the ins and outs of the breed and did the procedure flawlessly. Even the nurse and front desk staff were terrific.

The best part? All their profits go to help homeless animals at the SPCA. Some people get a little shocked at the price of veterinary care -- myself included. But they are price competitive with the other vet hospitals (I've checked) and I'd rather have my money go to charity.

The staff is phenomenal and the doctors are top notch. They have their own pharmacy and everything is done in-house. The areas are really clean and the whole place is awesome. I would go back to them in a heart beat.

This business is very much an asset to our local community. Rodents and pests are a real problem. When you have one: you need it taken care of immediately and at a low cost. This company manages to do that and do it successfully. As a result, I would call them again and again if I needed to.

I do not like the SPCA in this area. They made me pay six hundred dollars to save a cat that I did not own. They refused to accept the fact that this animal was not mine and continued to ask me questions about the animal's background, which I did not know. They did not impress me. Furthermore, the adoption process there is a mess. They make it very difficult to adopt their animals. I will never again use this place for anything.

The care my cat received was fine, although they just determined she must have sprained her leg somehow and there was no treatment prescribed. I have used their services for some time and they do a good job with her.

I AM NOT VERY HAPPY WITH THE SPCA. THE PRICES ARE GETTING TO BE TOO MUCH TO PAY FOR VETERINARY CARE. I HAVE BEEN FAIRLY PLEASED WITH THE ACTUAL MEDICAL CARE THAT MY DOG GETS THERE.

MY CAT WAS HIT BY A CAR AND THEY TOOK VERY GOOD CARE OF HER. THEY WERE VERY PERSONABLE AND CONCERNED. I ALSO TAKE MY BOA TO THE VET ONCE A YEAR. THERE ARE A FEW VETERINARIANS IN THIS AREA THAT DON'T TAKE CARE OF SNAKES BUT SPCA WILL.

I HAVE BEEN TAKING MY CAT TO THE SPCA FOR MANY YEARS AND AM COMPLETELY SATISFIED WITH THEIR VETERINARY CARE. I ALSO LIKE THE IDEA THAT SPCA ALSO DOES SO MUCH TO HELP LOW INCOME FAMILIES AND ANIMALS IN NEED.
