My experience has gone very well. The staff is professional and knowledgeable in their field. The pricing is reasonable and I would recommend this company to others.

I had two contacts with them.  We talked about the work that he was going to do and he looked at the sun and shade and we made a plan.  He was right on the minute as to when he arrived.  I was having a problem with one of my containers.  He had a semi-solution for it that was not costly.  When they came to do the planting they were very clean.  I have a balcony of my dining room and there wasn't any mess in my dining room.  They were so nice and were in and out of here.  They also took old plants out.  They are impressive and right on time.  They are pretty amazing.  I was astonished at how neat they were.   They cleaned up after themselves and took everything with them. 

The initial appointment to discuss our needswas fine, professional, clear, no confusion. 

After that we had a lot of hassles with scheduling. They actually called to confirm an appointment for 3 days after they were just here, and even though I called immediately to correct them, two new people showed up at my house before 8 in the morning, a time of day I would never have requested. Then, we got another call about a month later for an appointment we didn't set up. I think maybe scheduling with R&R might be easier once you establish a regular schedule.

It seems like their internal communication was off or something because we had set up our agreement for occasional work, with no clear plan for frequency since we were trying them for the first time. The scheduling hassles turned us off from scheduling a 2nd visit.

Regarding the yard care, the general weeding and work on the flannel bush was fine and a big improvement. I don't think they fertilized the lemon tree correctly -- didn't water first, didn't use the amount indicated on the package, didn't water after.

A couple of months later, the lemon tree which had been healthy for 8 years, died. It didn't seem like they over pruned, but I don't know enough about it. I don't blame them for the tree's demise, there were too many contributing factors--shock from 2 cold snaps, over watering from all the rain which caused root rot. I didn't know I had to turn the soil to aerate after all the rain, so getting that type of advice would have been helpful. The tree was producing smaller and less fruit than usual. I had a sense that something was wrong, but the tree seemed like it just needed fertilizer since it had been healthy for so long.

Because we didn't want to endure another scheduling hassle, I didn't call back to ask for help with the tree or the soil once it seemed sick.
