I had researched repair options two weeks prior and found PowerBook Guy offered the best price (COGS+labor). I was attending a conference at Moscone Convention Center and dropped off my computer on a Tuesday, with a requested Thursday pickup. They indicated that they were backed up and would "try their best" to meet my schedule. To my very pleasant surprise, they called me on Wednesday afternoon to report that the unit was ready for pickup! On Thursday, the unit was ready and fully repaired. The staff (owner, in this case) was more than courteous - he was friendly and engaging, solicitous and even remembered my particulars.
