Patrick is a man of few words, but he is competent, punctual, and does nice work. He takes the extra time and effort to do often-overlooked things like treating the cut ends of pressure-treated lumber prior to installing it. I would not hesitate to hire him again for future deck or fencing needs.

Old fence blew down on one side of yard and one on the other side was getting really bad.   Contracted P. Langan.  Left message.  Got a call back within an hour or so.  Owner came to do the estimate.  He is very polite and responsive.  He gave separate estimates for each side of the yard, as there are different neighbors who would be sharing the cost.  He gave a couple options.  It took a while to coordinate with neighbor, but the price remained the same.  We only were able to coordinate with one neighbor, so he only did one of the two jobs. He came in with one worker and did  the job himself in one day.  It looks great and sturdy - much better than what we had put up a year or so before with another guy. On the remaining job, he  talked  to our neighbor about various options, including reusing old wood.  We are going to call  him back  for some  deck  work.

I got estimates from three companies, all of which came in around the same price. I went with P. Langan because his reviews were the highest. He was punctual, did the job as specified, cleaned up after himself, and I am very happy with my new fence.

Patrick Langan is a precision contractor who built for us a perfect fence for our backyard in San Francisco.  We obtained three quotes and chose Patrick based on recommendations and his Diamond certification.  We are extremely happy that we did!   As part of our design, we had some unique variations on a typical fence that my wife found in a magazine and he executed it better than she expected.  The changes required a transition from the lower side fences to a higher back fence along with Nantucket-style caps and balls.   While he was working we identified a few extra carpentry projects around the house and garden which he graciously took on.   On top of the great results, he has a fantastic attitude, is easy to talk with and is competively priced.   If you are looking to have a top quality fence at a correct price, Patrick should be your choice.
