iMiele has a first rate sales process, an ok concierge service and absolutely "awful" customer service. i cannot recommend this brand to anyone in the market for upscale appliances. My stovetop range has not worked correctly since it was installed 2 months ago and i have spent tens of hours trying to get someone, anyone, at Miele to pay attention or help.
Don't be fooled by their slick marketing and sales process. think about how things are going to be if and when things go wrong and you end up in their Customer Dis-service quagmire. I have had better Customer Service at Home Depot.

They came in and installed it and knock on wood, it's been working fine. Previous times I have had issues with repair on, so we had an old one that came with the house and eventually died and before it died we had the guys come out on several occasions for repairs done and unfortunately there's, for our particular model, there seems to only be one guy in the entire Bay Area whose competent enough to repair it and so getting him scheduled to come down here to Seratoga, we have to wait weeks, to and with a dishwasher that's not the most fun experience.

I went to the showroom to buy a washer and dryer. Everything else, making appointments for delivery/ installation etc goes via the Miele concierge. When they called, it became clear they sales person in the sown room has not giving me the right information. I needed a 230V connection, which he said, the Miele concierge would take care of. So I had to postpone the first delivery date, to have an electrician come over. I think it makes sense that this is my own responsibility, but after specifically asking about it and being giving the wrong information, my opinion of Miele was not improving.
Upon delivery it turned out, the sales person had made another mistake. I had clearly explained the setup (to stag the washer and dryer) and apparently, the 5000$ I paid for the washer and dryer did not include the special tray that is necessary, not had he told me I needed one. So the first delivery was incomplete. The guys who came to connect the washer this time, where very professional and friendly.
The second team whoever, was a disaster. They where clearly annoyed that it was to stag the dryer in my (narrow) washroom (again, all explained to the sales person) The heavily scratches the site of the (beautiful stainless steal) dryer and made it seem that was my own fold, because the space was narrow.
When I filled in the evaluation from Miele's own review request, I was contacted by the head of the service team. This is the first time that my impression of Miele (high-end) was met. He took my complain seriously, and proposed a solution, some financial complication for experience and the damage/ scratches. This was late September, in November, when I had received nothing yet, I asked him to follow up, which he said he would, and that is the last thing I ever heard.
The washer and dryer work, as they should, needless to say. But, after spending at least twice as much as I would have spend on other (not even cheap) brands, I feel my expectations of Miele, being a high wend brand, have not been met by far.

It was a different experience, dealing with computer rather then fixing the real problem ,my dryer is too sensitive I think, after all problem continues.

I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH MY EXPERIENCE. THE TECHNICIAN WAS COURTEOUS AND HELPFUL. HE TOOK THE EXTRA STEP OF CALLING IN TO SEE IF HE COULD REPLACE THE PART UNDER WARRANTY, SAVING ME A GOOD DEAL OF MONEY. HE ALSO TOOK THE TIME TO GIVE ME INSTRUCTION ON MAINTAINING THE OTHER MIELE APPLIANCES WE OWN.
