Lobato Painting

Our experience with Lobato Painting was outstanding. Luis met with us at the beginning of the process in March 2025 and looked carefully at our exterior painting job. He thoroughly explained how they would paint our house and patiently answered all our questions, so we felt comfortable working with him. We got 3 bids and his was the lowest, which sealed the deal. This was a big job, because our 85-year-old house had not been properly sealed from the outside for many years, which led to water penetration when it rained. Luis and his crew, Leo and Feliciano, carefully went over every inch of our house and inspected the siding and stucco, finding areas where wood needed to be replaced, and stucco had to be removed. It took them 2 weeks to prep and repair the house, which we were grateful for. Painting took one additional week, so it was a 3-week job. They did an outstanding job of making sure every crack was sealed and the siding was smooth prior to painting. Now when it rains, we don’t have any leakage into our house, and we feel confident in the job that was done. We are also pleased with the smooth look of the paint on our siding. We added several extra jobs during the process which Luis handled fairly, professionally, without objection and for a reasonable cost. In fact, he took care of many extra items for no charge. Others might have charged more or refused to do these extra jobs, but not Luis, that is just the kind of person he is. His crew even adjusted their work schedule to make sure they were quiet during our toddler’s naptime every day. We liked Lobato so much that we had them paint our daughter’s bedroom one month later. You will not go wrong with Luis and his team. They have the admirable characteristics of patience, kindness and politeness and a very strong work ethic. We became friends during the whole process, and we would hire them again for painting and minor repairs.
