Excellent experience! My request on HomeAdvisor was answered almost immediately, and an appointment was made for the next day. Neil was fantastic -- from the first day looking at the existing roof until the job was complete. He was always on-time and available for questions by phone. The crew did an first-rate job and completed the job quickly and on-time. High quality materials were used, and there were no short cuts taken. The crew was always on-time, respectful and cleaned up every day. I appreciated the little customer service touches. For example, Neil oversaw when the scaffolding was being erected and pulled down, and even ensured that the holes created by the scaffolding supports were filled and painted (I have never seen a company take responsibility for this). I would highly recommend Highland and would be happy to provide a reference.

This is the only roofing company that replied to my phone message right away and set up a meeting, I had left messages on 7 different roofing companies voicemails. They had a good price and started work in just a few days and completed the entire job in 3, after each day they did a great clean up before leaving. Very happy with results.

Only roofers to give us an estimate and roof install within a 10 day window. Most others were backlogged for months. Very professional written estimate, given with examples of materials to be used, proof if insurance, accurate time line of work, and pulled the city permits too.

Highland Construction was fantastic. Neil was excellent in his communication of the project and proposal preparation. He coordinated my project with some last minute electrical work we needed accomplished after the old roofing material was removed. He checked in on the project when needed and managed the project thru to payment. The crew who did the work were thorough, hard working, and paid attention to details. Jay the owner of the company was onsite daily providing guidance when needed. In the 33 years that we have owned our home, we have had three other roofers work on our roof -- none were as thorough and professional as Highland Construction. I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

They were the first (and one of only two roofing contractors out of 12 called) to respond. Very prompt, great price, excellent customer service... and they were able to to schedule within 2 weeks to re-roof my home. Also started promptly at 7:45 am two days in a row, worked quickly, and I'm very happy, particularly after having leaks in this El Nino year.

Everything went according to schedule. The workers were diligent and knowledgable. Workmanship was, for the most part, outstanding, and the exception I pointed out was remedied without complaint. Would have gotten a five all 'round except - the clean up was inadequate, they showed up without the plywood underlayment, and there was a bit more discussion about "paperwork" issues than I would have expected. Neil was very thorough, the guy who came to run the job was less so. They have a 7-year no-leak warrantee which is superior to most! I'd use them again - this feedback is mostly to help them improve.
