Neil from Highland Construction was very professional and a pleasure to work with. His bid was also the lowest; and his team did a great job; completing the work in only 2 days. Since he had a delay on another job, he was also able to fit me in just before the rainy season started.

Neil made things go fast so we could rest easy before more rain came in.

Excellent experience! My request on HomeAdvisor was answered almost immediately, and an appointment was made for the next day. Neil was fantastic -- from the first day looking at the existing roof until the job was complete. He was always on-time and available for questions by phone. The crew did an first-rate job and completed the job quickly and on-time. High quality materials were used, and there were no short cuts taken. The crew was always on-time, respectful and cleaned up every day. I appreciated the little customer service touches. For example, Neil oversaw when the scaffolding was being erected and pulled down, and even ensured that the holes created by the scaffolding supports were filled and painted (I have never seen a company take responsibility for this). I would highly recommend Highland and would be happy to provide a reference.

Neil was kind and on top of all my questions. The job was completed very quickly and within the range we could afford.

This is the only roofing company that replied to my phone message right away and set up a meeting, I had left messages on 7 different roofing companies voicemails. Neil from Highland was ultra responsive when I called. He offered us a very good price and was honest with us about our roofing options. They also made some repairs to our skylight and light well for a small additional price. We are very pleased with their work.

Only roofers to give us an estimate and roof install within a 10 day window. Most others were backlogged for months. Very professional written estimate, given with examples of materials to be used, proof if insurance, accurate time line of work, and pulled the city permits too.

Highland Construction was fantastic. Neil was excellent in his communication of the project and proposal preparation. He coordinated my project with some last minute electrical work we needed accomplished after the old roofing material was removed. He checked in on the project when needed and managed the project thru to payment. The crew who did the work were thorough, hard working, and paid attention to details. Jay the owner of the company was onsite daily providing guidance when needed. In the 33 years that we have owned our home, we have had three other roofers work on our roof -- none were as thorough and professional as Highland Construction. I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

Neal was by far the most engaged when I was interviewing and getting estimates. He gave me suggestions that saved money. The men who did the work were amazing. There was one misunderstanding on what I wanted but it was fixed with no hesitation. Have already recommended him.

Neil and his company did a good job for us at a reasonable price. In addition, he made good on his promise that they would return to fix any problem with ponding that might occur.

They were the first (and one of only two roofing contractors out of 12 called) to respond. Very prompt, great price, excellent customer service... and they were able to to schedule within 2 weeks to re-roof my home. Also started promptly at 7:45 am two days in a row, worked quickly, and I'm very happy, particularly after having leaks in this El Nino year.
