If you're looking for an honest, dependable licensed contractor, Shane Hegarty of Shane Hegarty Construction, is your man. Everyone has heard or experienced the horror stories regarding contractors ... the missed appointments, shoddy workmanship, the unfulfilled promises and escalating costs., etc. With Shane you are dealing with a professional and don't have to worry about any of those things!
Shane was recommended to me by a seasoned contractor that was too busy to take my job. My house had a dry rot problem caused by missing roof flashing. I called Shane and he quickly made time to come over and evaluate my situation. Shane listened patiently to my needs and expectations and came up with recommendations and we agreed upon an action plan. His work was executed within the exact time frame and budget that he had originally quoted. He showed me step-by-step the phases of the work so I knew exactly what was going on at all times. While he was at my place, he also agreed to do a couple of small repair jobs that I had been neglecting (at an additional cost.) He also pointed out to me other issues that needed addressing, without trying to up-sell me. Shane and his assistant were respectful, neat, tidy and *** professional***. Although he does major remodels and building, he is also willing to take on smaller jobs.
