Discount Plumbing Rooter

This is long overdue but I have used Discount Plumbing twice at my place of work and they have been great each time I reach out. The most recent time, Steven (or Steve?) and Kevin came out to look at a problematic sink and constant running toilet. Both issues were addressed and resolved quickly. I highly recommend them as they are quick to respond, efficient and friendly.

I just had a terrible experience with discount plumber, I should have never agreed to their rates, so I recommend avoid not contacting them for any service. We booked discount plumbers for a bathroom drain clog. This ended with $11,669 of work the technician Connor found and recommended. With two plumbers for 6.5 hours (13 total hrs), their rates per plumber are $700-900 per hour per plumber. Please look at the photos and decide if these are reasonable costs for the work. Remember to avoid the mistakes I made hiring discount plumber. Get multiple quotes. Do not give a contractor the opportunity to find new things to fix, only the issues you wanted originally. I feel taken advantage of and hope you avoid them to not make the same mistake I did.

The quoted price from the message has nothing to do with what they will actually charge you, which is dramatically more than any other plumber for the same service. The plumber was fantastic, direct, knew what he was doing and solved the problem. But it was a total bait-switch between the low price I had expected with and the way higher price that was finally quoted in person - which I could have rejected, but I had them right there ready to do the job and had already canceled the very reasonably priced plumber I had scheduled to come later in the day thinking that this would be a better deal.

The technician was professional and seemed knowledgeable. Thus far everything working well. Unfortunately, I think the charges were a little high although I would hire them again because the work seems to be quality.

Discount Plumbing did the job very well. After an assessment of the water heater, the team explained the issue and why the water heater needed to be replaced. They did a thorough job analysis and provided a quote based on labor and materials needed. I asked lots of questions - each and every time (Marcus and Marcus) provided thoughtful answers. M&M are pros - they wore clean shoe covers each time they entered the residence, they cleaned the space after the job was done, and they kept me informed of their progress the whole way.
