Dan and Steven rock. Two years ago we were lucky enough to get paired up with Dan and Steven by Redfin through their partner agent program. Initially we were looking at East Bay properties with Steven. We appreciated the insights he was able to share about neighborhoods and various real estate subjects we weren't familiar with at the time, such as TICs. We then decided to take about a year off to save and monitor the market. Throughout that time Dan and Steven followed up with us periodically, and we always felt like valued clients to them. When we got back into the market we mostly worked with Dan reviewing SF properties. Viewing homes with Dan was always more enjoyable and more helpful than when we went solo. Dan has a great eye for a property's potential, and really helped us see what could be done with a home and whether it fit our needs. He also has a great sense of market value, and fairly accurately predicted many of the sale prices of homes we were interested in. This helped us to focus on properties that made sense for our budget, and to put in offers that we felt very comfortable with. With regard to offers and reviewing disclosures, Dan pays a lot of attention to detail and let's you know what may be a concern. Anything from easements on the property to unfavorable language in an addendum, he clearly explains the situation and recommends sensible approaches. And on top of all of that, Dan and Steven are just really nice guys that have your back. They recently helped us close on a house where we were in danger of not getting all of our seller credits due to mismanagement by the lender. Obviously we ended up getting all of credits -- this is the Ascend Group we're talking about. We're now getting ready to renovate our home, and Dan has been an invaluable resource for that as well -- recommending contractors, architects, helping with construction loan options, etc. Dan and Steven are well connected and well-versed in the real estate game. We can't recommend them enough!

Dan and Steven were amazing! They advised us on how to stage our house at the beginning. The advice they gave us helped us price the house and get what we wanted. They kept us on schedule and closed the deal quickly for a great price. They were always responsive when we needed answers and a joy to work with. We are so happy we chose them. Overall, it was a great experience and seamless process (as far has finding a home goes).  Dan was there every step of the way as we found a home, put in an offer, got outbid, and repeat.  We must have put in a total of 5 offers over the course of half a year.  The market was moving fast and despite our initial efforts, we weren't getting through.  But Dan made sure we kept on and in the end, we finally found the house that was meant to be.  

Dan possesses great knowledge of the various markets in the Bay Area and conveys that knowledge effectively.  He was able to show houses last minute, was always readily available to answer questions and concerns (even when on vacation), he easily set up inspections and most importantly, introduced us to the best loan officer.
